I would not recommend to even waste your time. I can't verify its him and don't want to say anything I can't defend in court but the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers gave an attorney Scott A. Lathrop a public reprimand in 2008 and so did the Illinois supreme court in 2009. His website says he went to school in Chicago so I wouldn't take the chance. I did some googling after a short email conversation with him that lead me to believe something was fishy.

I’ve been waiting to write this review since the day I met Attorney Lathrop. Regardless of the outcome of my case, or if I even HAD a case, he was the only person who truly listened to to me, made me feel validated, and went to bat for me. And the outcome was outstanding. The communication was immediate, thorough, and genuinely thoughtful/supportive during the most difficult to navigate experience of my life. My case was complicated, and although each and every attorney I consulted with told me I had a case, due to the complexity of my situation, no one would take it, but urged me to keep looking. You can only consult with so many attorneys in Massachusetts before it feels like you’ve gone through them all, and if you’re reading this, chances are I don’t have to explain how painful a wrongful termination can be.
