Lawrence Bellomo Attorney At Law

I regret hiring Larry Bellomo. I hired him for divorce on July 7th 2025. My wife didn't get served until July 21st 2025. Apparently Larry can't do much without his paralegal who kept leaving. On July 14th my wife served me with a TRO Temporary Restraining Order. I had 3 weeks until the hearing on Aug 4th. Larry told me that he couldn't handle my TRO on that day and told me I would have to get a continuance and wait another 3 to 4 weeks, mind you all this time I am basically homeless. I fire him on Aug 4th. (He refused to provide me with my billable hours/accounting.) This is not taking care of the client!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. All he did was answer some text and file my dissolution of marriage without having anything else like financial record... and charged me $2000. RIP OFF. My new attorney had to get my accounting sent to them. BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY!!

So we hired him to take our case to get grandparents rights and other issues . 2016 . I paid him in 3 payments . While in court my grandson mom had her own attorney which did all the talking, my attorney never said one word to make a point and try to win the case , I was sitting next to him and told him “ say something “ but he stayed quiet. He knew that there was no such thing as grandparents rights unless the father of the child has been deceased. I never wrote a review, but I wanted to write one now because the thought of this guy getting paid and not fighting for me at all still frustrates me how someone could do that… and just take my money …this guy will not fight for you !!

The second I spoke to Larry on the phone I felt a immediate sigh of relief. I had interviewed 15 lawyers and within the first conversation I knew I wanted Larry to be my lawyer. I came to Larry with no parental rights and today I have full sole legal and physical rights to my daughter. This GRUELING situation was beyond overwhelming, Traumatic and devastating. It was not the courts help that got me my daughter but Larrys. Larry and I worked as a team and fought tremendously hard for what was right. Larry was compassionate, collected, caring and strong. He is not only my lawyer but is now a life long family friend. My life would not be in the position it is in today and my daughter would not be safe if it was not for Mr. Lawrence Bellomo. He has changed mine, my daughters, and my families lives .He is not just a fantastic lawyer but an incredible human being as well.

Larry was recommended to me by a family friend. His wisdom, knowledge and expertise of Famiy Law was clear from our first meeting. What I didn’t expect was an attorney who cares deeply for his client’s best. He is not seeking to create “adversarial chaos” to an already sensitive situation for his own gain. My experience with Lawrence Bellomo has been entirely positive from the beginning. I needed an attorney for a family law issue, and it was important to me we handle the whole issue from a positive place, looking to move on in a positive way. He was helpful in guiding me through the process, and handling all the related issues in a way that fully achieved my goals with that. I get the impression that many attorneys in this situation come from a place of trying to create more conflict between the parties, with the goal of increasing their legal fees. While I'm convinced Lawrence could go that road if I wanted it, in my situation I was looking to move on in a positive way for everyone involved. And Lawrence was great at helping to make that happen. On top of that, he always treated me with kindness - and he was an entirely positive influence on a tough situation. Having never gone thru the experience of a divorce and a very difficult one at that, Larry has been extremely patient and responsive to my questions and frustrations with the legal processes needed to navigate thru the courts. We retained Larry and fired him 4 months later and lost $3,000 in legal fees. Larry advised us we needed to file 7, but when he pretty much went MIA after receiving the retainer, we fired him. We then interviewed several more BK attorneies who all advised us we don't qualify for 7, just 13. They were right. We would never recommend Larry for any legal matters.

Larry did a fantastic job with our case. He is very knowledgeable and he responded promptly, accurately, and completely. He handled all aspects of our case expertly, and documented everything. Larry was a HUGE disappointment! He represented me for several unproductive months, and then quit the DAY before my trial. He had no problem taking all of my money though! There are plenty of other lawyers out there, don't go to him!!!
