WARNING!!! Stay away. Please read! Barry Leavell and Associates was recommended through a church friend. He has no reviews on any law site. I should have been concerned. He also has a very drab, mildew smelling office in an obscure location. Again, I should have been concerned. I hired him to file an uncontested divorce, and to get a quit claim deed on my home. I was told the papers would be filed and that it should take 30 days. I signed the divorce petition July 13th. I called numerous times only to be met with different excuses over the course of 3 months. I finally managed to get the divorce paperwork and the QUIT CLAIM DEED WAS NOT THERE. I had a massive panic attack and barely managed to call and see what was wrong. I was met with more excuses and to this day I do not have the DEED ON MY HOME. I will be seeking advice to review this matter and advise me how to proceed. I have literally received better service from my cable company. I guess it was partially my fault for assuming that because I paid thousands of dollars I would receive good service. Barry Leavell and Associates are clearly too busy to cater to each individual client. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Find someone who cares about customer satisfaction and isn't just in it for the money, in my opinion.
