I am so sad and frustrated with this law firm, and I think these reviews are fake,because they took my case in late 2024 through lawyer Nick. Shortly after, he told me he already had a no-negotiation offer of $10,000. Shortly after, they sent documents for me to sign, saying I would only receive $4,500. Up to that point, everything was fine. Shortly after, I was detained by immigration. I had my husband inform them of my situation. In response, they said they would contact me or send a letter to the detention center where I was being held. They never did. When my husband called them again, they said they wouldn't give any information because he wasn't the owner of the case. I was in prison for 11 months, and in the end, they deported me to my country here in Africa. When I got out, I contacted them, and they told me my case was closed and that they had already sent my check. I wanted to know how I could send a check knowing that I still had to decide whether I wanted a direct deposit or a check. And when I ask questions, they transfer my calls to Vanessa Salas, who yells at me like a child, and other times they ignore me until my credit runs out. I feel exhausted and don't know what to do because all I want is to know if the check was actually made and sent, to track the check, and if someone took it, a legal order has to happen, but nothing has. Vanessa threatens me, as if I hadn't informed them about my situation. And as if that weren't enough, I don't believe they sent that check to my address, and I think that knowing I was detained, they took advantage of the situation and don't want to give me the money. They are inhumane. How can they take money from someone in need? Knowing that during the case I spent days unable to work because I was sick, and the fact that I was deported makes my vulnerability even worse, I question where the justice is? I feel abused, discriminated, threatened, and taken advantage of because I don't know who else can help me, even if they are lawyers. What you did to me was very inhumane, and I need this money. I won't let it go like this. Because I have nothing to start my life, the money is already mine, I am not asking for you to give it to me, I was injured at work. There is a God who sees everything and punishes acts of injustice and violence, especially for people who deal with laws like you. Please, I need my money, and I will never recommend anyone to you after everything you did to me. I won't let anyone go through what I'm going through, and I am truly so sad and very regretful for letting your firm take my case this people are very rude, especially the collection manager Vanessa Salas, who discriminated against me and yelled like I was her baby

Wrongful termination pre-litigation case; 50% Contingency fee + $250/month in overhead if and only if a successful case. Never seen a quote this high, major red flag. Company attempted contact to have this review removed and tried to “explain” the competitiveness of their rate.
