Well he has done wonderful by me , very smart and human like , case dismissed and I recommend to anyone I have taken time to do this review because I also sit on a pile of cases much won and I wanted to convince him But it is what it is and lawyers specialize I even make my case of convincing him while directing attention to a very uncertain world But I leave you all in good hands while I find an attorney for other issues

Mathew Barbero is by far the best criminal defense lawyer I've ever had. He has represented me in multiple cases all resulting in dismissal of all charges. He was very honest and commutation was always accurate and on time. I reached out to Attorney Barbero late last year regarding a reckless driving charge I was dealing with. From the very beginning, he was extremely straightforward and honest with me about the possible outcomes of my case. At the time I first contacted him, I was honestly panicking. But after speaking with him, I felt a lot calmer and more confident about the situation. He asked me to explain exactly what happened, and he really took the time to listen without interrupting me. It actually felt like I had known him for a while, which made the conversation very comfortable. That meant a lot to me, especially because when the officers gave me the ticket, it felt like no one wanted to hear my side of the story. Attorney Barbero listened, understood the situation, and then clearly told me what steps I needed to take. I followed everything he advised me to do. As the case progressed, there were a lot of complications with scheduling. The first court date came up and I couldn’t attend, but he immediately worked to have it moved. Despite all of that, he never gave up on the case. By the time the fourth court date came around, I had issues with my flight and thought everything might fall apart. But Attorney Barbero stayed persistent and continued working on it. Literally while I was about to board a connecting flight, he appeared in court on my behalf and successfully convinced the court to dismiss the charges. Just like that, the case was dropped and I was finally in the clear. He truly went above and beyond for me, and I can honestly say he did an outstanding job handling my case. My wife called him. And he was very rude and disrespectful. He called from his cell phone. My wife called him back from that number. Speaking in a very rude and disrespectful manner. He told my wife , don't you ever call this phone again. If he didn't want anyone calling that number , he should have used another number.

Matthew Barbero was my attorney for a reckless driving ticket, 91 mph in a 55 mph. I thought I was for sure cooked, especially with multiple speeding tickets on my record. Where do I begin.....First I called three separate law offices that claimed to handle traffic court in VA Beach and Matthew Barbero was the only attorney that i actually spoke to. The other offices called me back but it was just an assistant or secretary who only handled payment. Matthew talked me through the whole process, explained the traffic citation to me, gave me his plan and some contingencies all before he even mentioned price(which was one 1/3 of the price of one of the other offices that called me back). His staff were extremely courteous, kind, and prompt whenever i had questions....Looking at you Graycen!!!! Here is the best part, I don't even live in VA Beach so i was not able to even be at the court house, but Matthew was able to get my citation and ticket completely dismissed!!!!! As dismissed as you can get, no fines, no points on my license, and i didnt even have to pay court fees.....could not have asked for an easier process or a better outcome, if you need a traffic attorney anywhere near VA Beach do yourself a favor and call this man!!!!
