I have been a client of LHFV since 2022. I had been out of the Army for over 35yrs, and struggling with service related issues for 30. I was unaware I could make a disability claim after all these years. I reached out to LHFV, and after some initial reservations, I ultimately placed my trust in Mr. Fausone and his team. I've been a client of LHFV since 2010 for a case that I had clear evidence for, but was unable to win either alone or with the DAV after many years. Not only have lawyers Kristina Derro & Todd Tetreault, along with their support staff, been able to pursue those claims, they've won repeatedly. They've also been helpful with additional service-related issues when they became problematic as I've aged. In addition, as my representatives, they were able to deal with the tinnitus I got after a VA medication error in 2021. I'm nearing the end of this years-long saga that has included the VA appropriately granting service connection for 15 separate issues, most of which started in the 80's or 90's. One final issue is before the circuit court, where LHFV has represented me when the VA didn't respond properly to several claims over the years, often by not following their own rules. LHFV knew what to do for every item, and never missed a step. What LHFV has done for me has truly kept me on the right side of the dirt. Legal Help for Veterans were recommended to me by a buddy of mine stationed at U-Tapao RTNAF, Thailand as I was. He reached 100% disability. I too reached 100%. I recommended them to some other U-Tapao buddies & all reached 100%. I was extremely satisfied with my claims developer, Todd Tetrault. He did everything required & then some. No one should be disappointed in how long it takes, the VA controls that completely.

Absolutly top notch!! It's no secret the VA takes forever on any claim, so be patient. I submitted my claim while in the US and most of my work was done after I moved over sea's. Todd is great with personal service. Even after I achieved a goal I never expected he is still working on getting me more back pay. The fees were more then fair. We are Veterans and should understand " Hurry up and wait " I also spent 30 years in the post office. A friend of mine injured his back and it took almost 10 years to get recognized. Extremely poor customer service and they will only file your appeal once close to the deadline so they can maximize their renew, doesn't matter if it's beneficial to the veteran or not.

Attorney James Fausone failed to be present in a disability hearing and did not notify me of hearing. This resulted in my claim being denied. I then hired a law firm from Omaha, Nebraska (Berry Law Firm) that helped me get a 60% disability rating. DO NOT OBTAIN THE SERVICES OF LEGAL HELP FOR VETERANS!!!

Unresponsive and draw out claim to collect the highest back pay because they get 25%. Company poses like they help vets but are just conning a profitable system. Honestly disgusting, excuses they give are laughable.

After attempting several times to get help for approximately 40 years, using The American Legion, and other Veteran groups, etc., even having a congressional investigation, and constantly being denied, was and is horrible!! I was using my exact same military medical evidence, plus a Government work, denial letter, for medical reasons, but constantly being denied, when I haven’t had a quality life, after serving in the United States Army. I recently gave all my same evidence, that had been presented and denied several times in the past, to Veterans Disability Help, and they have improved my rating more than I ever expected, and are continuing to pursue even more. I’m a disabled Veteran, served from ‘02 to ‘07 and without Legal Help for Veterans, I’d still be fighting with the VA today. They worked so hard for the benefits I have now and I’m not sure what I would’ve done without them. I’m a Veteran of Desert Storm and have a skin disease that is very rare. Cause unknown and no cure. LHV took my case even though I had nothing in my medical files. The disease appeared a few years after leaving active duty. LHV fought and continues to fight. I never thought I’d receive any benefits and I’m currently at 90% and we’re still fighting.

I have used legal help for veterans the entire office is the best they will get you what you deserve my attorney Jennifer Marucci is the very best and all the office staff has been wonderful if you need va help they can really help you so glad I got them. Very bad experience whoever answered the phone was not really listening to anything I said and kept asking me. Do I want the VA or do I want the law office? I kept trying to explain to them that’s why I was calling. I did not know exactly where I should start. They said they were having trouble with their system. I had a very serious question to ask about my husband and his experience in the Navy years ago, but I just gave up.

I used Legal Help for Veterans and my disability was increased significantly. Just having Mr. Fausone's name on the paperwork helped my case tremendously and I was satisfied with the outcome and don't need to appeal. Well from my experience with firm is that it started out ok but all of sudden I was having a hard time trying to talk to my representative. Them insult to injury it seems like this firm and the VA are working together against the Veteran is this just happening to me or other Veterans? Effective immediately I terminated my contractual agreement with this firm 2-26-2024. Well veterans be aware when dealing with this firm for their services!!! As of 3-11-2024 I received my withdrawal letters from Legal help for veterans now the law firm is trying to charged me for their services if I were to be granted for my future benefits even though I no longer have their representation for me. The contract sign states only fees if they win. This firm is a predator towards myself regarding this issue!!!! Veterans beware of these shady tactics!!!
