In May of 2022 my brother lost his life in a private airplane accident in Broomfield, CO. In the aftermath of this tragic event, it was confirmed that he had appointed me as his Personal Representative. I live 1500 miles away and needed local help to take care of his affairs. A quick search online led to a call to Lent Parker Law LLC. I retained Margrit Parker as my attorney with no idea of the ordeal that lay ahead. Margrit helped me through negotiations with creditors and a difficult eviction of a non-tenant in a rental property. Her advice and foresight proved to be correct as we dealt with these sticky matters over the months. We had to retain another attorney for the eviction, and it was Margrit found just the right one to get me through that process which included a full day in court. Then Margrit skillfully led post-trial negotiations to settle a judgement awarded to the estate against the opposing party and his attorney. Margrit also found the right real estate agent to quickly sell the rental property. Once done, I paid creditors and distributed proceeds with Margrit keeping track of my accounting. Through this multi-year process, Margrit was efficient and worked with estate's beneficiaries in a fair manner. She was also understanding of my personal difficulties after the loss of my brother and subsequent failing health of my father. I cannot imagine a better choice for the help I needed at that time than Margrit as she never created any additional stress or difficulty but was always helpful, prompt and a voice of reason.
