Got in a car crash. Lerner and Rowe didn’t do much except set me with physical therapy who wanted to do an epidural before physical therapy. I pushed for physical therapy and when I had 2 family members die and missed the PT appointments, Lerner and Rowe dropped me and put a 3K lien on the insurance claim from the insurance company and a 2K lien for PT. It’s a formula, they get the most money they can from you and don’t give care about their clients. Now I’m left to deal the other insurance company on my own, which hasn’t been that bad. Update to your response. None of your time line makes any sense. Here is a screenshot of a message left by Swift Institute cancelling an appointment with me on September 18th. Over 2 weeks after you said you contacted them on 8/26/24 and you said I had cancelled my appointments.
Dear Mr. Langi,<br>We are very sorry to hear about your loss. However, we tried calling, texting, emailing and sending you letters via regular mail and certified mail from the end of May, 2024 to the end of August, 2024. Specifically, we tried to contact you on 5/31/25, 6/13/25, 7/29/25 and 8/12/25. The letter that is referenced above was sent out on 8/12/24 and we also contacted your medical provider on 8/26/24 requesting them to have you contact us if you were receiving care and they said you had cancelled your appointments. Finally, after receiving no response to any of our efforts for months, we tried calling one last time on 9/13/24 and still could not reach you. At that point, we had no other option but to discontinue our representation. We mailed you a letter in September, 2025 indicating the same. <br>Our office finally heard back from you on 12/23/24, more than 3 months after our last communication attempt and over 7 months from our last communication, where you asked for an update on your case. We outlined our efforts to try and reach you and explained that we had no choice but to discontinue our representation due to your lack of communication and assistance in the prosecution of your case. The attorney also gave you information on how to pursue the claim yourself, reminded you of the applicable Statute of Limitation date and offered to send you a copy of your file upon request. The attorney explained how you could proceed by either representing yourself or seeking out alternative representation. It is never our desire to discontinue representation of one of our clients but please understand that we do require our clients to communicate with us in order to prosecute their best interests. Thank you again for the opportunity and I wish you the best of luck in resolving your claim.<br>
