I tripped over a cement bumper in a poorly lit parking lot and was taken by ambulance to Encino Hospital in severe pain with a broken arm. I was treated in the ER and had surgery the next morning. I was anxious about the out-of-pocket cost that I could incur. I called Lerner Law Firm and was greatly relieved that they would shepherd my case through the insurance companies. My attorney gave me a reference to a physical therapy firm that worked with me for 6 months and brought the use of my arm back to almost 100% usage. As a result of the lawsuit and subsequent settlement, there is real change in this parking lot. The lighting has been improved and the hazardous walkway has been blocked off.
