He's a great person...but he sucks as a lawyer.

Lewis Schwartz was very thorough & made sure I had as much medical evidence as possible, and he could submit everything I filled out fast on his end instead of sending it in the mail. He always kept me up to date with what the status of my claim was, like when I was denied, when I was awaiting a hearing, when we had to appeal, or if an interview was coming up. He was there from start to finish. It took about 19 months from applying to being medically approved and then doing the final PERC interview regarding living arrangements and resources. That sounds like a long time, but the SSA can be very slow, and it is mostly a waiting game. Be prepared for that! Be patient and just stick with it. He always responded to my texts and answered my calls or got back to me promptly. Lewis Schwartz of Buffalo NY is a great guy to have on your side in applying for disability, for sure. I wanted to write this positive review out of gratitude for his perseverance on my case - thank you!

He will judge you Based on false information and he wont represent you because of it. Maybe if he got to know his clients first he would know their personal situation better and be more helpful to them.
