Aug 2023 I found out some shocking news about my husband that had me seeking out a divorce attorney. To be honest I'm not sure how I found Marry with Lissa Kaufman offices but I'm glad I did. She helped me enormously during the nearly year long process (a kid and evaluations of husband slowed down this process) but I can happily say as of yesterday, I'm divorced! Marry helped me realize that yes, after 10 years I was entitled to my settlement and I'm happy she didn't give up encouraging me after a few months.

I'm a lawyer in the community who often has cases against Lissa. My experience is that Lissa is a strong advocate for her clients, cares intensely about her clients’ interests, is an excellent trial attorney; and knows how to investigate and build her clients’ claims. Because 90% of case settle without trial in mediation, Lissa negotiates in mediation in good faith, and, though a strong advocate for her client, she knows what a trial judge will do with the facts likely to come out in trial and will work in the mediation context to achieve a settlement that will ultimately achieve resolution without both parties needing to spend thousands of additional dollars for a trial where either party could only live on the margins. I respect her judgment and her zealous advocacy for her clients.
