Michelle is wonderful. I needed help with estate planning for my parents. Communication with her was easy - on the phone, over zoom, and in person. She was able to speak fluent Mandarin with my parents as well which was extremely helpful. Michelle is very patient and thorough. Highly rcimmended! We needed a comprehensive review of our 24 year-old family trust documentation. After our initial interview, Michelle Yu of Longevity Law clearly analyzed our needs, committed to a prompt timeline and firm fee schedule for the project, defined the additional information she required, then met the originally agreed schedule in proceeding from information gathering and review of open issues to final drafts and signature of amended trust dicumentation. If you’re nearing or in retirement and are thinking about efficient transfer of your assets to the next generation (skip one), consult with attorney Michelle Bau Yu in Los Altos, just off Miramonte. She and her associate Patrick will make reliable recommendations and reliably put together the paperwork to secure it. We first used her in 2014 and came back in 2025 for updates. If you are looking for an attorney with the reasonable cost and not involved in family law and ILIT, she might be the right attorney for you. Michelle recently helped my mom to prepare a separate living trust because my stepdad lives in another State but we want to have legal documents to support her in case something happen to her not only her wealth and also the health and financial arrangement. When you are looking for a living trust preparation, please ask your attorney what services and packages are included in it.
I am glad we could assist your mom with her California trust, will, financial power of attorney, health care directive, deed, property tax exemption form, general assignment and ancillary estate planning agreements all at a reasonable cost. More importantly, the peace of mind knowing the documents are professionally prepared and will be effective when needed, is priceless.
