New Braunfels, TX
If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommended.
I reached out to Lorna after I was caught off guard by a sudden separation agreement. I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and facing tough choices while feeling emotional. Lorna brought genuine compassion and kindness that truly stood out. She listened to me before anything else. Then she encouraged me to pause and see the situation more clearly. She was honest and reminded me that this was a business negotiation, even though it was painful. That perspective helped me regain control and make better decisions. Lorna explained the agreement in simple terms, pointed out the most important parts, and guided me on what to ask for and how to do it. I left with a clear plan and much more confidence. If you ever need someone to stand up for you when things are tough, call Lorna Griffin. She will support you with skill, calm, and real care. Thank you, Lorna!
Thanks to Lorna and associates, I felt confident and at ease going into the hearing. They walked me through the process, explained what to expect, and prepared me with sample questions beforehand.
I had the privilege of working with Lorna Griffin, a labor attorney in New Braunfels, regarding a complex workplace case. From the very first conversation, she was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her office provided clear, accurate, and actionable guidance that helped me navigate the situation confidently while remaining fully compliant with the law. Lorna was on top of everything from day one — she communicated promptly, kept me informed at every step, and provided genuine support throughout the entire process. As a veteran, I deeply appreciate how understanding and supportive she is of those who have served; she truly goes above and beyond to protect the “little guys” who just want fairness and respect in the workplace. If you’re looking for an honest, highly skilled, and compassionate labor attorney who will fight for you and guide you with integrity, look no further than Lorna Griffin. She’s an absolute gem in her field and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
Lorna Griffin and her team were absolutely outstanding. They took on a very complex, deeply emotional employment matter and handled it with expertise, empathy, and unwavering support. Giselle was amazing—always available, organized, and kind throughout the entire process. Their help brought me peace of mind and a fair resolution. I highly recommend them to anyone facing workplace issues.
Lorna took the time to listen and address my concerns about the document we reviewed. Did not feel rushed at all.
Working with Loren was great. I really appreciate how far she went for me during my case. Would definitely recommend
I had the privilege of working with Ms. Griffin and her team during a very challenging career transition. From our very first conversation, she was professional, responsive, and candid with her guidance. Rather than over-promising, she took the time to give me a realistic picture of my options and helped me make an informed decision that ultimately turned out to be the best path forward. Her integrity stood out — she genuinely looked out for my best interest, even when it meant advising me to resolve matters directly rather than spending more on legal fees. That kind of honesty is rare and deeply appreciated. Because of her advice, I was able to finalize my severance smoothly and use the opportunity as a stepping stone to start my own HR consulting business. What could have been a very difficult chapter became a blessing in disguise, and I credit her thoughtful counsel as a big part of that outcome. I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Griffin and her firm to anyone seeking employment law expertise. They bring professionalism, compassion, and clarity when you need it most.
Lorna Griffin did much more than she was required to. She supported and guided me through every step of my case. She was very honest about expectations and time lines. I immediately developed a trust for her recommendations. Overall, I could not have for a better person to represent me.
Lorna Griffin has been a godsend for me, she took my matter seriously, explained exactly what my options were, and treated me with the dignity and respect that I had not received with my previous attorneys. She saw my case through to the end and I highly recommend her as your first choice in employment attorneys.
I was referred to Ms Griffin from another attorney that was not available for the day I had mediation. I can't thank him enough for referring her. She was definitely a blessing. Her location was closer to me and she responded the same day. Her staff as well as herself always responded or answered my questions within 24 hours and always made sure all my questions were answered. She advised me through the whole process and not only listened to my concerns but stayed strong and firm with what I believed and felt was right. I would definitely recommend her to anybody looking for a lawyer to defend them against an employer hands down.
Lorna was amazing to work with. She answered all my questions, calmed any concerns and worked hard for me. She was a light in a dark situation and I couldn't be more grateful to her.
Ms Griffin is very attentive, knowledgeable, assertive attorney. She has helped me to stand for my rights. Thank You Mrs Griffin.
Helped answer some questions for me. Very quick to respond and knowledgeable. Gave me advice in my best interest even though she could have led me to spend a bunch of $. Much appreciated!!!
I had a very positive and pleasant experience. Ms Griffin Is very knowledgeable, patient and gave excellent guidance. If you are having problems and need an employment attorney, recommend this office without reservations
I reached out to Lorna for legal consultation regarding wrongful termination, and her response was (and I quote): "or we can send a "lawyer letter", but that's $500." With absolutely no consolation or any regard to my situation at all. 0/10, literally go to anyone else. Oh also, she referred to the TWC (Texas Workforce Commission) to seek legal advice about wrongful termination (something Lorna's firm covers), the TWC (surprisingly) told me, they "don't handle wrongful termination cases" and to "seek a lawyer instead". So yeah, anyone please avoid her and her firm. Thank you
Navigating employment claims can be a complex and often frustrating process, especially when dealing with sensitive issues like wrongful termination. It’s important to remember that different claims, such as those related to wage disputes, retaliation, or terminations involving protected class statuses (like race, gender, disability, etc.), may be handled by different agencies. For instance, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has a Civil Rights Division that specifically addresses employment discrimination and terminations related to protected class statuses. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) also handles employment claims related to protected class statuses. More information about these claims and the roles of the agencies can be found on their websites.

Attorneys do charge for their services, including consultations and any legal representation actions, such as drafting demand letters. Cost for legal representation reflects the time, expertise, and effort involved. In this instance, no formal legal representation was undertaken. We understand how challenging these situations can be and we wish you well in resolving your employment matter.
The professionalism and care shown by Lorna and the team were above and beyond my expectations. Her communication and guidance were always on point as we navigated through the issue.
