Response to unethical and misleading “OWNER”: I understand you are now stating that you are not a family law firm and only handle VA compensation cases. However, that clarification directly contradicts how your organization presents itself to veterans in practice. Your materials were distributed at the VA, and your intake paperwork explicitly included options that reasonably led me—and would lead any veteran—to believe you assist with broader veteran legal issues, not solely VA compensation claims. There was no clear disclaimer at the outset that family-court or custody-related matters were categorically excluded. While I appreciate that Renee took time to listen, listening alone is not assistance—especially after acknowledging that what was happening to me in court was wrong and illegal. Representing yourselves as a resource for “veterans” while offering no actionable help outside a narrow revenue-generating practice area is, at best, misleading. Veterans seeking help deserve clarity and honesty up front, not branding and outreach that suggest support and advocacy only to be told afterward that nothing can be done unless it fits a specific billing model. My concern is not about declining a case—it is about how expectations are created and how vulnerable veterans are drawn in under the banner of “help” without meaningful follow-through. Original Review: I reached out to Renee for help as a veteran and a father in an ongoing family-court matter, believing this organization genuinely supported veterans facing legal injustice. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. After acknowledging to me directly that what the judges and the so-called “justice system” were doing in my case was wrong and illegal, I was ultimately told there was nothing they could do beyond offering “legal information and encouragement.” No advocacy. No intervention. No meaningful assistance—despite knowing I was being harmed and separated from my daughter. I was advised to find private counsel with a $5,000 retainer, something completely unrealistic given my financial situation and the very circumstances I was seeking help for. For an organization that claims to support veterans, this felt like being left hanging when it mattered most. If you are a veteran in crisis—especially one facing family court, financial hardship, or parental separation—be aware that acknowledgment of injustice does not translate into action here. I needed help, not sympathy, and I did not receive it.

I am so-o-o thankful for Tim Franklin! Claims, appeal, hearing before a BVA Judge...he was there. His expertise, tenacity, and compassion supported me throughout. I contacted the Lowery veterans law because my disability claim was disapproved. I had heard good things about the law firm. They had a pretty tough claim to prove service connection. With Mr. Franklin‘s years of experience, he was able to get my claim approved. This has been life-changing for myself and my family. I cannot thank them enough.

I spent months looking for a good resource after being denied many times along with dav and vso's messing up my paperwork, this was the best option I had found, they were fast acting set up an appointment right away just putting in my information online and then within months they got a multi claim setup as well as finally got my two-time denied gunshot wound approved for a rating, there was no hidden fees they were straight up and honest about everything the only thing I even had to do was mention my current living situation and my combat injuries for priority processing and they quickly sent me what I needed to have it submitted I finally thanks to this service I'm able to take care of my two children and survive during these hard times and finally work towards the stability that I've never experienced in my life. They are still working on getting me further in my claims and I'm extremely grateful, I lost hope didn't know what to do worried about my children and their future and now im able to do something about it after 4 years being out of service with several failures of getting my disability rating where I needed to thanks to these guys, they were the Heavy Hitters.

Hi, the little bit of interaction weve had so far has been good. We sent in the VA rating codes and award letter and was told it was being forwarded to the attorney. Thats was a couple weeks ago. How long does it take to hear back from the lawyer? Thanks for any info. I messaged on facebook but it just gets left on read lol
