Lucy C Wright Attorney

This woman will take your money, give you bad advice and then any legitimate work that does benefit your case you end up doing yourself. She's absolutely worthless as an attorney. And she's big on gaslighting! Let me site an example or two. She told me I could not leave my house/abuser in the beginning of my divorce until she submitted certain paperwork, otherwise it would abandonment on my end. Every week I begged her to get on it so I could leave and she asked me why I was still there and who told me to stay... Uh YOU did! She also sent me paperwork multiple times with other people's names on it and expected me to fix it and send it back... Whatever that even means??!!!

Ms. Wright was gave me confidence to navigate my divorce and achieve the outcome I wanted so I could remain an active father in my childrens lives. Her professionalism and experience in Divorce and Family Law was pivotal in the tumultuous time in my life. She let me know what my rights and choices were during this chaotic time. I listened and made decisions based on her advice. I will forever be grateful for her advocating for my rights.

For a full picture, google Jonathan Mackey v. Elizabeth Anne Mayfield. She lost the original case and the appeal and ANYONE who considers hiring her should read this case closely. Everything her client did, including taking a child out of school early and relocating 1000 miles away without the mother’s knowledge was under her advisement. Also…she has been arrested 3 or 4 times on DUI and skirted justice…rumor has it she actually crashed her car into a government building. Do your homework before throwing money at this one. I don’t care if she responds to this, she knows she almost got disbarred for what she did.

I hired Lucy Wright in July, 2021 for a divorce and now I’m divorced as of September 28, 2021. I’ve been trying to get a divorce for 4 years, I couldn’t have asked for a better lawyer than Lucy. She handled my case so quickly, very professionally, explained everything to me step by step and she took care of the rest. I highly recommend Lucy Wright.

Lucy represented me for over 3 years while I went through my divorce from the trial level, to the appellate level, and all the way up to the Tennessee Supreme Court. I did the right thing by hiring this attorney for my divorce. I needed an at-fault divorce four years ago. My child's well being was top priority and it still holds strong today. She was a blessing in our lives

I am delighted with Ms. Wright. She is a seasoned lawyer, obviously very experienced. She was recommended to me by some other lawyers, which is very telling.

After paying her a massive amount of money. She did not do much for us. We did receive full custody, but mostly because the other party did not follow court orders. When we really needed her the most I reached out to her Explaining our new situation. She told us we were fine just to wait it out. Now we are too late to fight back. After, a short “you should find another lawyer Because I’m busy” I basically had to demand our paperwork back.(which she did mail back) Oh but she did mention another lawyer we could contact. Yea thanks for that 👌 hahaha I would not recommend her. Shame on me. I had read her reviews before hand and still went with her. Wish I would have trusted my gut and chose someone else. Thanks for nothing

I hired Lucy bc my mom used her when I was a little girl with my dad! I met her she promised to help me and get my ex for child support! She is a lying thief, I paid her around $6700 and only met her once and talk to her on the phone once. She would never return my calls she always had her receptionist do it! Yes the $6700 was over a 3 month period, my court dates got put off and she always had Sherry call me. She wanted me to pay another $1000.00 for doing more paperwork! What paper work? I told her(Sherry) no bc she wasn't even doing the work Sherry was. So she let me go! Lucy Wright you should be ashamed of yourself! How could you treat a single mom of 4 that way? Well you did get a D.U.I like 2 months after that!!!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE HER!
