Got my ticket reduced from reckless to improper driving but max fine ($500 plus another $100 in court fees and “convenience” fee through payment portal). Had to speak with her to fix my written statement because there was some errors with what she wrote and she was very confusing about whether my attendance was required or not. She said no, but then sent several “official notices” saying attendance was mandatory so I made the drive and got a hotel room just for her to call me 5 minutes before I got to the courthouse to tell me she already took care of it.
