Mark Lyons handled the affairs of Jerry Miller, and was given his estate in exchange for debt. I happened to go by his grave, and realized he was never given a grave marker despite being a Vietnam veteran. I contacted Mark about the issue, and he said he would take care of it. But he never did. I had to be the one to call the funeral home who tracked down his military papers, and ordered the grave marker. I was told by the funeral home to contact Mark about the $300 setting fee, so I did. After a couple weeks of calling I was finally able to get ahold of him, and he was extremely rude and told me “if he had time he would get around to it. And to not contact him anymore.” I said I just wanted to make sure that this was taken care of, and if he wasn’t going to do it then I would figure something out. He then proceeded to go off on me telling me about how he acquired Jerry’s “shitty” house in exchange for debt, and had to put $60k of his own money into it. Which is so extremely unprofessional and unnecessary information. Regardless, that house is now worth a lot more than $60k, and the least he could do is make sure a veteran that he was responsible for his affairs for has a grave marker. The way Mark Lyon spoke to me was inexcusable, and in no realm would I ever recommend him to anyone.

Mark Lyons will not disburse my court awarded funds from his Trust Account. Case settled in June, 2021,and it is now October 15 and I have received $0. He received his funds but won't pay me!
