This lady and law firm is a joke. She never replies. And has everyone else in the law firm giving you the run around for services you PAID for! Took my case and didn’t come close to doing anything that she said that she could do with my case. I wasted a large amount of money believing the lies i was told when i could have gotten the same results with a public defender. Hell at least they probably would have responded to me when i was trying to get help with my case. Please believe these reviews. This lady is a scam!

If I could give this place of business 0 stars, I would. Judith is very unprofessional and seems money hungry. After paying thousands of dollars, you will never hear from her again. They give you the run around, they tell you that they will handle things and reach back out but then will go ghost. No matter how much you reach out or how respectful you are she simply just doesn’t care. I would advise people to get everything in writing when it comes to her or better yet, NOT do business with her at all; save your money!! The way she does business is disappointing and very unprofessional.

Well plan an simple,,she took my case an my money an knew she could not handle the case..An gave the case to her father...but she was suppose to be the attorney..something that was not agreed too...

Please use a different attorney she will lie to you then take your money and when you confront her about her lies will threaten you with bodily harm if you come to her office. And I did copy the emails.

Amazing work ethic

If I could give zero stars, I would. Judith Barnett is a proven liar. She lied on legal documents and there is proof that she lied, a long, dated paper trail. She is the most unprofessional and unethical excuse for anyone that has sworn to uphold the law. I wouldn’t hire her to represent a corpse.

This lawyer was awful! She opened NONE of my discovery emails, returned none of my calls, ignored every question I asked, kept the remainder of my retainer & threw me under the bus to the judge presiding over my case.

Best family lawyer in Jackson metro area. She is like a pitbull with lipstick on when she enters a court room.

The first I called the lady was really nice stating that the attorney was on vacation call back the following week. Then someone else answered the phone and was very very rude. When hiring, train your employees to have some tact. They can either make you look good or bad.

Unreliable. Missing court dates too. Doesn’t give a — about you but love to bill you. Find someone better

Mrs. Judy is very passionate and fights hard for her clients. I love Judy and her husband and consider them to be family now. I highly suggest using her for your family law needs, she is very professional, caring, and gets results!

Mrs. Judy is hands down the BEST attorney in the area!!! My husband and I are very satisfied with her services. She kept us updated with our cases, provided great services, listen to all our concerns, and staff was very professional. I highly recommend using her as your family lawyer.

I retained Judy Barnett for my divorce. Worse 1st experience ever!!! She never returned my phone calls, didn't respond to my emails and took 6 weeks to file the divorce papers with the court! I recommend you find another attorney!!! 02/25/21 After paying for my no-fault divorce in full, $1500, in the summer of 2020 and receiving a receipt from the office of Judith Barnett showing a zero balance, all paid in full, I get a damn bill 8 months later and 2 months after my divorce has been finalized, saying I have a $48 balance. This attorney is completely unorganized and unprofessional. Worst experience ever with my 1st divorce!!!
