Before I hired her, Bethany Macktaz told me she could help me with legal issues in a way no one else had and in fact in a way which others had said was impossible. After I paid the retainer she not only changed her tune with regard to those methods and goals, she acted in ways which were detrimental to my case, including sharing privileged communications I had sent her with opposing counsel. Once in court she spent less than an hour on my case (billing me for 2 hours) while spending hours with other clients even causing a several hour delay in my case as the court took a break for lunch. After doing damage to the negotiations, she withdrew from my case, leaving me without counsel, and refused to return the retainer I paid her. "Unprofessional" would be the best thing I could say about her.
