I only gave one star because I had to. Communication with this lawyer is practically non existent. I rarely knew what was going on during my case. Probate thru this office is a nightmare and Mr Madsen seemed to roll over and show his belly to the opposing team instead of fight back. Please please don’t waste your time, effort and most importantly your money with this office. The only thing I can recommend this firm for is disbarment.

He will burn through your money like there is no other didn't do me one bit of good for my probate you'll give him $5,000 up front 3 months later you'll get a bill for 3,800 bucks and that's the first time you ever heard from him since you gave him the money I would suggest do not hire him

We decided to use this office as our father had used him for a business transaction prior. So thinking he had knowledge of our dads affairs we used him. Well, he didn't. Probate for the loss of our father was a nightmare. I will not ever recommend this office. Nor will we ever use him again. 10k for him to handle our probate! Spoke with others now and know we were ripped off. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE.

I get the COVID delays in court, but 800 dollars to email this guy with simple questions and requests concerning my partners case is ridiculous. Literally bills an hour just to email the guy. All we're trying to do is get my partners record cleared to where they can work in their field of work. Madsen does not communicate so you must communicate with him, which means a huge bill for simple actions. If we don't like it we can go and lose the retainer of 2500. Seriously feel like we'd be better off letting the time pass this allowing my partner back into their field of work. I feel like these lawyers, of which I believe Madsen is one, feel like the law enables them to deny and mitigate the accomplishment of needed services for their clients. My advice, don't break the law, or get involved in civil liabilities, or expect proper services from these type of people.

Mr. Madsen went above and beyond! Contacting him was my best decision!

I would like to think attorney Madsen for his valuable advice he gave me when I was needing an attorney. He gave me the advice I needed he gave me the name of the law firm that I have contacted and can definitely depend on and he is a great man and has a caring heart and the 75-year-old woman and I needed some greatAdvice and he gave it to me I will forever be indebted to him he’s a good man thank you I would recommend him to anybody who needs help

I watched an attorney named Victoria Robinson mop the floor with Mr. Madsen. It was an embarrassing fail on his part. When I left the courtroom Ms. Robinson was suggesting to the judge that her clients be awarded costs. I have heard other attorneys laughingly referring to him by the derogatory term ‘chest beater.’ I’m a court watcher. I like to witness trials and have developed a feel for them. I have no business or personal relationship with either of these lawyers. I have nothing to gain from this review. If you have had a negative experience with Mr. Madsen I suggest that you go to Idaho.gov to make an ethics complaint. It’s simple to download the official complaint form. It costs you nothing to file and it will be reviewed by the proper authorities. It will also be taken very seriously. I have rarely observed what is, in my opinion and mine only, such monumental ncompetence. As I’m not a lawyer I make no claim this statement is a legal definition. Again, I’m not a lawyer. Personally, I wouldn’t hire this guy to defend a traffic ticket.

Madsen is almost as good as a public defender maybe almost. Save your money because he costs a lot and drops the ball on simple things. Will not fight for you but he’s a great if you want to spend $6000 to someone instead of a public defender your results will be the exact same or worse.

His consolation was NOT FREE and a waste of money. I felt like he didn’t even listen to my case, and he had his mind made up before I even stepped in the door. Every time I spoke, he would interrupt me, and he never even looked at my paperwork. I paid $50 for a referral to another one of his goons which would probably do the same thing. I’m never going back or referring him to anyone.

I called regarding a subpoena I received and some questions I had. The attorney and staff were very helpful in answering my question and even giving me an alternative avenue to explore. I would highly recommend their services.

Lower cost than almost every other attorney in North Idaho. Other attorneys in area are raising their hourly charges more and more. I used him for a criminal matter after I switched from another attorney who rarely communicated with me (incoming and outgoing calls and emails) . Also i came back for a complicated civil law matter that is going good so far but hasnt finished. Will update after it is finished.
