I retained Michael to help me navigate a Milwaukee city licensing issue that very quickly got very complicated. He is adaptable and strategic in his approach and was able to change direction to get the issue resolved to the satisfaction of all involved. Michael is a street smart, “get it done” kind of guy with a very ethical moral compass. And beside that his is a really nice person!

Worst attorney ever...paid him $14,000 dollars for nothing. He took advantage of the situation we were in and literally made all these promises that he didn't fulfill. The judge found him in contempt of court at one of the hearings. I don't usually leave bad reviews but its been years since he represented me and I can't forget how bad I got screwed. Please think twice before hiring Michael Maistelman, he does a terrible job at everything. First Red flag 🚩: An attorney publicly violating attorney client privilege and publicly posting false allegations as a response to a review. Absolutely disgusting behavior from a “professional attorney” The attorney you hire is supposed to represent you and defend you from such allegations. Not take your money and then turn your back on you and and pretty much support the false allegations brought against you. Second red flag 🚩: Please pay attention to the 5 star review trend. Michael Maistelman was rated negatively on google until 2 months ago. I urge everyone to pay attention to the influx of 5 star reviews exactly 2 months ago. That means this attorney is persuading family and friends to leave positive reviews. Look up the names of the individuals on CCAP. Majority of 5 star review were left by individuals that never had attorney maisteleman named as an attorney on their case according to public records. He is deceiving people with a “highly rated” review when in reality he barely earned one star in my perspective.

I am on the board of the Newport, a high rise on the Prospect Ave., and we hired Michael Maistelman as our attorney to remove a "comfort dog" from our pet-free building where the owner had very dubious documentation for justifying the animal. We are not anti -legitimate service animals, but this was a blatant fraud. A couple of attorneys were not interested in the case since they felt it was too difficult a case to win. Michael took it on and very delicately proceeded to win our case. The entire board including our ardent dog lovers were very pleased with Michael's work. We highly recommend his work.
