I don't understand why they have such high ratings, the communication between my lawyer and myself wasn't present. It's like they didn’t truly care. I still haven't heard anything from them, phone, email or letter. Disappointed and discouraged. I truly hope other have better luck. My life has turned upside-down do to my illness and I was hopeful that they would help. Good luck God speed.

Stay clear of this law firm they do absolutely nothing for your case. the communication is horrible they never answer the phone or return voicemails..you are better off doing the process yourself.

Could not be happier with the way they handled my claim, took four years but I recently won full approval, all thanks I’m certain, to my case manager Belinda who was pretty much my sole contact there , she worked with me throughout the claims process the numerous hearings ,hundreds of phone calls and the unlimited supply of documents . Belinda did a great job for me, always returned calls and emails, always had the latest info on my case keeping me up to date about what was happening. I have been going round and round with Social Security on getting approved with Social Security for my type of disability for a minute now. I would not recommend this lawfirm. They will do more harm than good to your case. Because of these guys now I'm having hard time retaining another lawyer. I asked them to call me back and Belinda never did. Their communication really sucks and will lie and say they didn't receive emails. I would stay away from them and find another firm that will do their best to take care of you.

Yeah, didn’t help me at all. It was a lot of back-and-forth. and this is just with intake. It’s been 3months no further than intake.CRAZY🤪 I just ended it today. We were on a call trying to figure out what the problem was. They told me it was some paperwork that I needed for a medical, but my therapist had already sent that and called them herself. They didn’t even call her back. but she told me to hold on a minute later the phone hung up. I was going to call back but they have my number. Do you think they called me back? It’s been 10 minutes. 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️ 🙂‍↔️ if I could give less than a star, and definitely don’t deal with Marcy 🤦‍♀️

I had been denied social security twice even after extensive medical documents had been submitted and its an illness that is covered in what I call the SSA bluebook. My dad still had the business card for Makris Law Firm when they helped him years ago apply for his disability (and win), so he told me I should give them a call. It was the best thing I could have ever done for the situation I was in. They were VERY helpful and attentive. They explained to me everything I needed to gather to submit and even helped submit some of it for me so I wouldn't have to drive to the main office to do so. Everyone was so pleasant, kind and helpful. No one was condescending and they treated me like a human being. Ms. Lisa Davila and her assistant Ingrid were a delight to work with and it helped keep me at ease knowing that they were there to assist me in my claim. The office staff were kind and very helpful as well. I was granted a hearing with a judge and was approved. If anyone needs assistance in filing for disability, I highly recommend this law office as they are top notch.
