Called Mr Mann for a consultation. He then began to tell me as a man I would not be able to sue my place of work since I was a man. I then looked up the South Carolina law and nowhere does a state that a man cannot sue his place of work for harassment or hostile work environment. He gave me 100% false information

Today was my first time meeting with Mr. John Mann for consultation regarding an employment law issue in which I was charged $100.00. I thought this was strange because I never had to pay for consultation from other lawyers before. When we spoke over the phone, I gave him most of the details of my case when he interrupted me to say that I could set up an appointment to come in, and he would charge me $100.00 for consultation. It wasn't until we were half-way through with the consultation that I realized that he wasn't in it to try to help me. He knew when we spoke over the phone that he wasn't going to help me because he had most of the details then to make a decision. However, he still asked me to set up an appointment in which I repeated what I had already shared with him before. I felt humiliated and upset that I would have to pay him $100.00 for nothing!! Then I came home and looked at his webpage which states free phone consultation at the top and reads again free consultation at the bottom?!! I am floored right now with this guy who calls himself a lawyer and who is posting false advertisements. A lawyer is someone who is suppose to uphold the law, defend for the law, not going around taking advantage of the innocent. This lets me know that he is not trustworthy, I would not recommend nobody to his place of business. In response to the owner's comments, he had NO clue that I had filed a complaint with the EEOC until I met with him in his office. He also later emailed the Better Business Bureau to tell them that he had made an attempt to refund me my money. Again, this was another lie, not once has he offer me a refund but blames me for exposing his wickedness over the Internet. In Proverbs 28:11, it states: "The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out."

Even though the Law firm couldn’t help me in my back child support they help me to understand something clearly and if they had 10 stars, I will give them that all is well

I reached out to this firm with hopes that an attorney would assist me with my case. John’s said that he charge a $150 consultation fee however it say on line that the consultation fee is free. So he set a date for me to come in and I arrive early and waited. I paid the $150 the he said he has to add an additional 3 or 4. He never said he would accept my case but he then said that there is an additional $350 plus the percentage before he try to make a case for me. Keep in mind that he only mentioned the $150 and at the end of us talking he said the second amount. I questioned him about this and he then wanted to refund my money. Monday April 7, 2025 Last week attorney John Mann reached out to through and email asking me to remove the one star review and when could I come into his office. I sent him my address for him to send my $150 back that he said he would do then this morning he said because I didn’t remove the review he decided to keep the $150. Which wasn’t the problem because he said that was his consultant fee but he then threw in an additional amount totaling $508.
