Receptionist is a jerk and hung up on me. I would expect better.

She did a great job handling my divorce. She knew what to do and when to do it to get the desired results i wanted. Her team is easy to communicate with and sharp as a tack. I highly recommend her to anyone that has to go down lawyer lane. She knows how to win.

After being defrauded in my eyes and and paying fees for the ordering of a transcript that I was assued over and over for weeks was ordered I decided it was in my and my children's best interests to retain alternative counsel.. upon doing so that same transcript was ordered and they were told it had NEVER been ordered by the Washburn law firm ..I definitely feel defrauded and lied to about that... I got calls from the tennis club at night.. late.. got solicited for gifts for her family in violation of bar association ethics code.. got called in for appointments and her contracted associate told me as well as her assistant that she didn't have me down and was wirh someone else and couldn't see me but that she wanted me to get with them and quote organize my files. Which took hours .. because it was always a mess.. and I was billed for both that attorneys hourly rate as well as the assistant .. without me having any idea .. several hundred dollars per hour when my files should have been organized before meeting with her . She also threatened to quit right before a hearing in the most juvenile manner and leave me with zero representation for upcoming bearing after spending months and months and thousands and thousands of dollars to prepare for it. The entire experience was disgusting to me. New attorney got the divorce done and everything I asked for within a matter of weeks for a fraction of the costs.

Do not come here. The worst communication. My divorce agreement had so many errors in it it was laughable. The receptionist lied and gas lighted me on multiple occasions. So much I had to check my phone records. But they lied. A lot. Straight to my face! Took months to get my positive balance back. When u walk in with a check, they tell you everything you want to hear. But then once they have your money, silence....

She was highly recommended to me, but what I wasn't told was that she doesn't offer free consult, I had decided to retain her on the day that I went in for my consultation. However, I guess I took too long to get back to her, because she never called me back after calling her office back twice & I mentioned to the receptionist both times that I was ready with all requested docs. I took it as a good sign, because my husband & I decided to stay together.

Margaret Washburn is THE BEST. She is efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and she really does work for her clients. She is extremely responsive and she gets things done in a very timely manner. Most attorneys will stall, delay and do all sorts of unnecessary things in an effort to collect more money from their client and it usually takes them forever. Margaret is the opposite: she finds out what you want as an outcome, gathers all pertinent facts, quickly I might add, and then works quickly to get things done. She doesn't waste time or play games. She is also very aggressive, which is what you want in an attorney. I will definitely be calling on Ms Washburn if I ever need an attorney again.

My attorney introduced me to Margaret Washburn as we were preparing for trial in my divorce case. After our initial consultation, I retained her services on the spot and all I can say is WOW, I am so glad I did! We had two weeks to prepare and when I say Washburn Law Offices kicked it into high gear, it may be an understatement. Margaret Gettle Washburn has no moral compass. She wants your money more than doing the right thing. She smiles but deep down she is deceitful. Her best interest comes before yours.

Referred someone here and they totally did nothing but took her money for consultation. She didn't even get to speak to who she made the appointment with. SMH! Done with referrals here!
