If I could give a 10 star I would definitely, Mr. Di Carlo has been on my case for a year, it was a long time coming but Mark stayed positive for me throughout the hardest time. He ensured he would be with me every step of the way and was! Every phone call I had with him was sensitive and with grace. Mr. Di Carlo knows the law down to the T. ZERO STARS! I want to thank Mr di Carlo for dropping my case 6 weeks before my trial. Yes! Thank you. I was told because I began a small paid training program that I let him know about months before. That he would not represent me anymore due to me working, He dropped me 6 weeks before my hearing! Thankfully I was fortunate to have found Klaine and Associates in Chicago. They did it! within the 6 week time frame. I got my disability approved. YES APPROVED! My new attorney said that the fact that I was showing an effort to work even with a disability could only help my case. My guess is Mr di Carlo was not prepared because there was never any communication with me what so ever. His staff was rude and unorganized (except for one lady) any time I called him. Thank you Sir for dropping me. Thank you!
Generally, one cannot receive social security disability if you are working; because you cannot be disabled from working if you are working. <br><br>Generally I will never drop a client, if they have gone back to work because they may be entitled to disability for a limited period of time.<br><br>Geenrally, I only drop clients if they do not cooperate in preparing the case.<br><br>

I hired him 20 plus years ago, He did a great job getting our business but once the fee was paid... He got lazy quick. So to add to this. Mark. So happy you replied. You got paid up front At the second meeting you wanted to me to accept what was offered. Which required no intervention from you. I am sorry that your past seems similar to your present. You have not changed. 20 years later your poor attitude, representation still bothers me. Based on the posted reviews, your still the same. At the time, there was no yelp, no google just an ad. You are a good reflection of what we paid for and have not changed. I did not like your attitude then, your abrasive, challenging persona needs to stop.
Edited response: I do not know what I allegedly represented this unknown man for, a criminal case, or a social security disability case. He never identified himself or I would have pulled his file and specifically responded to his false allegations.<br><br>Perhaps it was a criminal case, because he states, i wanted him to "accept what was offered." Generally, I give an opinion of what a client should do on a criminal case, but I do not tell them what to do, such as to "accept the plea offer." The reason for that is my fees are structured in such a way, that if you do not accept a plea bargain, than the fee is larger for a trial before the judge, larger before a jury, etc. I have no dog in the fight, as it wereregrding what the cleint chooses.<br><br>You may be a person without gratitude for my winning his case, and enabling him to receive social security disability money for the rest of his life. <br><br>You did not "like my attitude" but you do not give one instance of what was wrong with my attitude; because your allegations are untrue. <br><br>The fact that you never identified yourself at any point again speaks mountains about your character and about the falsity of your allegations.<br><br>Again you do not state what you expected me to do after I won your case on the social securituy disabilty, or how I got lazy on a crimial case case because your anonymous, non-specific allegations are untrue and motivated by other reasons.<br><br><br>Mark Di Carlo<br><br>

We are in a very desperate situation and in need of legal advise. Without getting into the situation I will say I found Me Mark DiCarlo on Google search. I called to see what our options were with the given situation. Upon speaking with Mr DiCarlo in my opinion he's a very negative person didn't sound like he had too much knowledge in the kind of case we were looking for. Very rude and doesn't let you finish any part of the conversatiin and if I had the choice to stay with a public defender or pay Mr DiCarlo to represent me in a case. I think my chances would be better with a public defender in no way did he make me feel like he would come up to bat for me or any ones he had no confidence in himself or the way he spoke. He stated more than one for that matter he told me that it wasn't about what he could do for me it was if I had the money because it was a money situation. That tells me that he is only about the money not about fighting for you. At the end of our conversation I professionally told him he didn't sound like he would argue on our side the way we need and I thanked him for his time and before I could finish he hung up on me. I was shocked at his unprofessional behavior. And I would never recommend paying him even if it was for a traffic ticket... And if I could rate zero stars I would....His rude, unprofessional behavior made me steer clear and return to my search for a good CONFIDENT AND CARING attorney. I understand that the charges are very difficult but I want an attorney that makes me feel like they care enough to try and one that can clarify our options and this attorney in no way showed us that he would do all he could to get his time reduced or get the case dismissed he flat out told me he might ask him to plead guilty after reading the case. Well hell if that's the case then we can stay with a public defender for that that's why we are looking for a good attorney. And BTW yes we do have the money we put money aside for this situation and we have way more than what his retainer fee is and now I understand why he's so cheap you get what you pay for is the truth and he won't be seeing a penny of our money. Now I understand why he wasnt listed under the Google search of best attorneys in Corpus Christi or best federal attorneys in Corpus Christi. .... My review was an honest opinion not due to being upset because that wasn't the case I was told on several occasions that it was a monetary situation. And I was informed that his attorney she was not obligated to give me information and upon his permission she did I am in no way upset with his public defender as I stated to Mr DiCarlo she was new to federal proceedings and maybe she was not in the best interest of him because she had very little expierence and communication had been bad and paperwork was taking long to get to her client. Maybe we needed someone with more expierence and knowledge in his case due to the charges. Reading his review shows his unprofessional behavior to prove my point. And telling all the details of our consultation including our full names is out right crazy now that was done in a malicious act of anger and I feel like could taint the case of my friend. So before any consultation please people take this unprofessionalism in consideration what you tell him is apparently not confidential and he can't be trusted if he's upset. I will contact the state bar to make sure this behavior Is at least acknowledged. It shouldn't be legal if it is. Again Thank you Mr DiCarlo for your time and for proving my point. This is an untrue, slanderous, and malicious review; apparently by a mean spirited woman who telephoned my office yesterday on May 27, 2021. I gave her the benefit of a free consultation of about twenty - five minutes. The consultation was an honest and professional assessment of a Federal criminal case for her "boyfriend" and quoted a reasonable fee in a straightforward manner. I did indeed hang up on her when she started to speak to me in an insulting manner.<br><br>This woman, who identified to herself as "Christy Villanueva" told me that her boyfriend, "Jason" had taken a plea bargain in state court and the state dropped the possession of a firearm by a felon case after he pled to another case to 8 years in prison, which I believe was a "family violence” case. She was angry at the court appointed attorney, and stated that Jason was only given two days to accept the federal plea greement which she stated was fifteen years. One of the things I discussed with her, is that it was common in Federal prosecutions to add additional charges if you onot accept a plea. I also told her that it was unusual for the Feds to pick up a state case which had been dropped by the state pursuant to a plea bargain. I discussed with her, that based upon the facts that she had outlined, that it might be difficult for the Federal Prosecutors to prove their case at trial, and the reasons it would be difficult.<br><br>She was upset that the court appointed attorney would not provide her with the evidence that the United States Attorney had against Jason. I told her that the Federal Attorney probably could not tender her the evidence and investigative reports. I told her that this was a complex issue, but there is at least one specific federal law, which might be violated if these documents were tendered to anyone; particularly a person that is not the criminal defendant nor even related to the defendant. It was at that point that she became upset and started to insult me, and I thought this rude and perhaps intoxicated person or mentally ill person, did not deserve a civil goodbye.<br><br>It is interesting that she refers to my services as being “cheap”. My legal fees are fair, and set forth in an honest and straightforward manner. These fees are the results of an Attorney that works for a living, and attempts not to exploit those who are in trouble.<br><br>I cannot state whether I am listed in Google as to the “Best attorneys” in Corpus Christi. I do know that a tried a federal Criminal Case in Corpus Christi, Texas last month, and won the case, against two federal prosecutors; that I have been licensed in Federal Court since 1986; and have published for federal criminal cases from years ago.
I started my case in 2016 or 2017 i believe on my own I tried very hard with my daughters physical disability i kept getting denied even when I went to court i appealed every time so I hear of mark and gave it a shot 1 year or 2 now 2021 so later with all my paperwork in hand from the previous docs needed he sat me down and ready to go he explained we may have to start over which I appealed many times so in his hands what I had he went to work it took time obviously but he ended it getting done a big relief for myself this is most recent as of this month but he kept going prior as I myself would call and get the status I was helped and my questions were answered im very satisfied now just awaiting on SSI letter confirming...thanks Mr. DI Carlo look forward hearing from you and SSI on winning my daughters case Abygail
