Mark A. Simon, Attorney at Law

This law firm lack acceptability and has terrible communication. Mark made it seem as if he was going to jump right on my case, but to my surprise he did nothing for 2 months. I signed documents and sent him additional information after signing and no one mentioned I missed 1 document that was sent after the initial signed documents. It was 2 months later i sent more information, that's when I was informed I was missing signed documents. So they sent a letter for non representation. 2 months wasted when I could've been look a respectable law firm.

I was in an automobile accident on January 26th, 2023. I was referred to Mr. Simon from a friend. Mr. Simon took care of everything for me. I could then focus on my recovery. I did not have to worry about dealing with insurance company's or any medical bills that came in. This was a huge relief for me. I did not want to be taken advantage of by the person at fault or their insurance company. If i had questions or concerns Mr. Simon would contact me to explain. I was always given the steps that would be taking place during this process. Once everything was settled I did not have to pay any bills. Mr. Simon took care of it all. Stress free!! I had a very bad experience with an attorney many years ago, that after signing his contract, never answered my phone calls, or wanted to see me when I went to his office. I had to fire him, so the injury case adjuster could talk to me. After I did everything myself, the case closed, and the attorney still took his 33% of my settlement. Obviously I was very worried about getting an attorney again. I called a lot of attorneys, and after meeting with Mark Simon, he sounded and looked very honest and professional. I trusted my instincts and went ahead with signing his contract. The best thing about working with Mark Simon, is that 1: He called me back when I left an important message with his secretary, usually within the same day. 2: He is very honest and clear about your options. 3: He gives you expert advice about what NOT to Do or SAY, that will hurt your case. All of these qualities gave me confidence and courage to keep going, even though at work, they were trying to make me quit. I remember one time that he called the adjuster to change the light duty work they were forcing me to do at work. That showed me his dedication to helping me out, and actually working on my case. Now I know what a good attorney can do for me. I recommend to be VERY careful before signing anything, make sure you hire a good attorney. I feel very lucky to have found Mark Simon.

It was not pleasant. He claims to have been an RN, yet spent 90% of our time asking me why my face was so Red all the time. It's called Rosacea, as if I wasn't self conscious enough about my condition. He took a huge portion of the payout of my painful incident, so I found the entire experience pretty disheartening! I would have had a better experience elsewhere I believe. Lacks overall Empathy, looked out for himself!

I had a motorcycle accident in a private parking lot, caused by a pot hole. I spent several weeks in the hospital, due to a shattered arm and elbow, broken hip and pelvis. I called 10 lawyers and none would take my case (the ones on tv). Tried one last lawyer in Mark and he fought for me. Always treated me with respect and compassion. Always talked about how i was feeling and making sure I was Ok. Mark won the case and I received a lot more than I thought. On July 1, I was driving my husband from Good Samaritan Hospital to lunch. He had been diagnosed with cancer three weeks earlier, and we were planning a vacation – hoping it wouldn’t be our last. As we neared the restaurant, an SUV ran a red light and t-boned our car, flipping it on its roof. People stopped to help and were able to extract my husband through the broken window. Fortunately, emergency responders arrived quickly, and we were transported to the hospital (the same one we had just left). Several hours later we were discharged. I thought the accident was clear cut – the other driver was cited for careless driving and his insurance, if any, would pay or my coverage would; but it became clear I could not handle the accident claim and my husband’s illness. A friend recommended Mark Simon. I owe that friend – Mark Simon has represented us exceptionally well. He fielded the insurance inquiries and collected the necessary reports. Accident victims often feel no amount is enough – my husband and I never did get to take our vacation – but Mr. Simon worked to get more than I expected. He was the consummate professional –answered all my questions, communicated the status our case, advised me what to expect then exceeded expectations. I don’t know if he has strong arms, but his skill, knowledge, compassion, work ethic and integrity are strong indeed.

I originally chose Mr. Simon because he was recommended as a workmans comp lawyer. Initially he was very excited to take my case, but along the way I noticed he didn’t know details and seemed unconcerned. If I didn’t initiate communication, I was too often oblivious to pertinent info. Maybe he had too many clients, or other cases that would bring a higher return. In the end, I was alone in my stance and underwhelmed with his efforts. Normally I don’t bother with reviews, but when decisions impact a career/future earnings, I’m compelled to say find another lawyer. Too late for me.

Mark took my case when other attorney's did not want to help me because they did not think my case was worth while but Mark made my case worth while and I greatly appreciate what he did for me!!! I ended up with more than I thought I would get and would recommend him to everyone.
