Mark Becker was very misleading and over charge and basically did nothing for the money he charged. Don't walk away from him run....

I strongly advise anyone considering hiring Mark Becker to exercise extreme caution. My family had an unfortunate experience with him after he took on my mother’s case, promising a flat fee agreement. We paid him $10,000 up front, but soon after, he began demanding more money, claiming he now wanted to bill hourly. Mr. Becker’s behavior was highly unprofessional throughout. He made repeated late-night phone calls, often speaking in a hostile and aggressive tone, pressuring us for more money. He was fully aware that my mother had no income and was relying on her children for legal support, yet he still exploited our situation. Ultimately, he withdrew from the case at the very first court appearance, leaving my mother without representation. His conduct raises serious ethical concerns, and in our opinion, he took advantage of a vulnerable client. We believe it is important to warn others: based on our experience, this attorney does not act in good faith, and working with him can be emotionally and financially damaging.

Mark Becker preys on his clients constantly asking for more money case has not even gone to court . File a complaint with the board . He is very unprofessional ..

Terrible Lawyer. Very money hungry, will not fight for you. Will try to convince you to settle to make his job easier. DO NOT USE HIM. It's my biggest regret

Becker represented me in a divorce proceeding which already had a settlement done by a mediator. He was only needed to sign off on that agreement but insisted that he could do better for me; instead he was outwitted by my wife, her self an attorney, who directed her lawyers and won virtually every contested point in the divorce. Becker was quoted numerous times as saying that I would not owe him anything beyond the retainer that he quickly burned through! His rationale was “leveling the playing field“, so while my wife spent close to $100,000 (some of which was my funds) my legal costs were to be held finite. Imagine my surprise while hospitalized for six months, getting a notification that Becker had filed a lien against my home for + $13,000. accruing 10% interest while the Fed rate was under 1%!!!! What a shyster. Beware beware beware

At the end of the child custody trial, Mr. Becker did a banged up job for half the price other attorneys were asking. Mr. Becker and his staff won almost 50% or parenting time I have with my daughter. He also went to work on payment amounts along with back payments. I felt he was laid back at first! Don't be fooled by that. This lawyer got my daughter to spend as much as her mother received. Please note I was never married to this women. All can say is thanks Mr. Becker.
