I was in need of an excellent attorney and since I didn't have any idea who to call, I started reading the reviews that people posted as I'm doing now. I called Mark's office and set up an appointment to discuss my case. When I first met him, I looked at all the awards that he had on his walls and all the law books on his shelves. I was trying to decide if I made the right choice by choosing him. After 10 minutes of listening to his thoughts for what he said he would do, I knew then that I had made the right decision. When it came to the day of the court date, he went back by himself and spoke with the judge and DA sharing his evidence on why this shouldn't even be in front of the judge. The judge ruled in my favor without me even going into the court room. Mark is a fighter for you and he knows the laws for how they are written and uses them to defend you to the highest levels. I have never made a public post for anyone, but after how he defended my case, I've never been more excited than I was that day in court, knowing that I had made the right decision to have him as my attorney. If you are looking for an excellent attorney to help you in your times of needs at any level, Mark Geiger should be your first and only choice.

Thus far Mark has navigated us through the Post Conviction Relief process for our sons conviction on a measure 11 accuasation . It worth noting that only 4-6% of these cases are successful, but ours was - we were granted a new trial. Our boy was just transporred back to our county last week to await said trial, and Mark 'appeared' via telephone to ask for the ridiculous half million dollar bail to be lowered to within our reach, and for the first time in three years we didn't have to drive for hours to hug our son across a prison visiting room table. We're elated. We still have to gear up for the new trial, but Mark is our guy. He's a little low key and quiet, which at first made us a bit nervous; we wanted the assertive bulldog lawyers we've seen on tv (and any film based on a John Grisham novel). But the fact is, we don't need a cheerleader, we need a quarterback. Mark's our guy.

Mark asked me in our consultation, of how I would like the results to end up, if I hired him. I told him that I would like to have my charge reduced to a lesser charge. I wasn't sure what to make of Mark , during our initial meeting. I looked around his office and noticed a plaque on his wall that said "100 top trial attorneys in Oregon". I believe that's what it said. I felt more comfortable in my decision making, after seeing that. I hired him, we went to court to try to plea and the assistant DA wasn't budging on a plea. We went back to court on our next and final court appearance, and it was like watching a magician at work. He had done his homework and then some. He was so prepared, that the assistant DA was left speechless and struggling to fight. She didn't stand a chance. I wasn't sure what had happened until we exited the court room. Mark explained to me what happened.......ALL CHARGES WERE DROPPED! I couldn't believe it. I was expecting a lesser charge, but Mark's hard work paid off.
