Martin Haverly was very courteous and timely in assisting us with our employment law questions and concerns. We felt that he had a genuine concern for our situation, and he offered straight answers to difficult questions that did not always favor us.

I contacted this company for advice and spoke to a representative named Cheryl. She inquired about the potential value of my claim, and I expressed my uncertainty. Unfortunately, Cheryl informed me that they were too busy to handle this type of request and hung up on me. I called back to obtain her name, but she became irate and shouted before hanging up again. I would caution against doing business with this company due to Cheryl's unprofessional behavior towards potential clients.

I should have read the reviews before we hired this firm. We hired this firm after several calls with their receptionist who does the screening for Martin Haverly. After being reassured that we had a case worth discussing we decided to have a meeting with Martin Haverly. During our meeting, I was shushed twice and Martin Haverly yawned several times during our meeting. He appeared to be very tired. I paid for the consultation fee and then was told we had no case. I was then told for an additional $1100 he would represent my wife if we need an attorney for unemployment. I felt this was a bait and switch.

I never felt more patronized, and it cost me $500 for him to say I don't have a case. I feel as if I just threw $500 right out the window. Not a good experience whatsoever. But his pockets are full.

In my case Martin was very effective, did exactly what he said and although he was not in a suit and tie that did not matter the least bit and quite frankly put me at ease, a suit does not make a good effective attorney. As he predicted after our consultation, we won my unemployment case and when all those checks came just days later, it made a substantial difference in my life. If you need an EFFECTIVE unemployment Attorney, look no further.

Excellent service

I had the same experience as all of the other reviews. Essentially he will not do what he says he is going to do. He messed up so many official documents for my case (and it took me over a month to get a meeting with him and to discuss it. He would still not acknowledge that he ignored the issue for so long), no concept of communication, rude, would not acknowledge or address any concerns, and has excuses for everything. One time I walked into his office for a meeting and he was sleeping. Don't waste your time.
