I had a disappointing experience with this healthcare attorney (Martin M). Despite being recommended by my partner who was ready to send in the retainer/fee last week - our initial interactions were far from professional. During a preliminary phone call where I hoped to gauge compatibility and discuss working together, the attorney seemed to take offense at my questions (particularly asking about specifics to their conversation and me wanting an understanding as I’ve heard differently - not free advice just an understanding to how he works). This led to an abrupt and unprofessional end to the conversation when he hung up on me. This lack of courtesy and professionalism in both email and phone communication left a negative impression and made it clear that a productive working relationship would be unlikely.
