I initially emailed several attorneys. Most wouldn’t discuss case details until I agreed to pay them. Personally, I prefer at least some demonstration of skills before I pay someone money for service. I received a quick reply and and a consultation was set up. I spoke with Ira about my case and he laid out likely options and probabilities. He seemed knowledgeable about the trial process. We also discussed the fee and what that fee covered specifically. It seemed far more reasonable than what anyone else was quoting me. I was not able to pay immediately. When I was ready to pay, I did have some issue getting with whomever it is that was responsible for taking payment and ensuring it was for the correct client. Perhaps I’m impatient. I called twice and left voice mail, email, and a less than stellar review here. Shortly after that someone from the office did reach out and everything was cleared up. I spent some time considering how I would alter my review. During that time Matthew called me and we discussed the matter. I informed him that everything was resolved to my satisfaction thus far. I did receive a very different original reply to my review here at first. My integrity was questioned due to the fact that I use a pseudonym, in an attempt to make my review seem illegitimate. That has also been resolved, and while it is certainly irking to be given that sort of reply when you believe you are in the right, I cannot help but think that it is exactly that level of ferocity I am looking for when I hire someone to represent me!

Matt Altamura was a beacon of hope to our family when we were still relatively new to Asheboro and encountered legal woes. We had enrolled our daughter in local private school, and had done so will full confidence that we would be starting the academic year shortly.
