I would highly recommend Aaron Johnson or Derrick Wilson. Actually I wish I would've met them sooner than later. Aaron Johnson and his team are top notch and very knowledgeable and professional. Over a 3year+ custody battle they have always been available or responded in a very timely manner. During the absence of Aaron Johnson, Derrick Wilson appeared in his place and I was amazed at the professionalism and how well he was prepared. The whole staff is extremely exceptional and the willingness to work with you in any situation that may arise along the way. Like I stated in the beginning I only wish I would've you then in my original divorce instead of doing it ourselves because they( the ex spouse)say one thing and then do another when situations arise. If I'd had used them in the beginning I might not have been in a 3yr+ battle. By the way guess who's favor the FEMALE JUDGE ruled in BECAUSE Aaron Johnson had everything in black and white? Yes MINE! Mr. Wilson was wonderful. He helped me navigate a painful and difficult situation with my divorce. Pretty disappointed in their front office staff. I called about a mediation and was told I needed to file for divorce first and get a case number. Went to count clerks office and they handed me a very extensive pack of paperwork that was basically the entire divorce proceedings child custody, asset division the whole nine yards. Far more than what I needed. I spoke with the ladies at Maddox and Wilson and was told I only need to submit 3 forms. Went back down to the clerks office to take care of it and after explaining it to me they said I needed to speak with my lawyer. Sooo back to mattox and Wilson. I needed for her show me which forms I needed to submit. That were in a folder in front of her. I tried to explain I didn’t need legal advice I needed to know what forms to submit. The very same forms they told me over the phone to go get at the clerks office. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or was frustrated. Over all disappointed.

Mr Wilson was great and did actually care about my daughter’s well being. He seen right through all of the bull. Highly recommend him.

Absolutely worst place to attempt in getting representation for custody! Was constantly interrupted and no ability to speak. Then was told to be quite and just listen. I had to literally stand up and walk out. Worst worst worst place! This was all during the first 5 mins or less of our consultation.

TERRIBLE!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I called for an inquiry about representation for a child support/custody case & was told “good luck finding someone to represent you” AND then “I’m on vacation I wouldn’t have time anyways” when he returned my call. Let me remind you there is absolutely no reason someone wouldn’t want to represent me (clean record completely). DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY unless you want to be degraded.

Update: Not a month goes by that I am not reminded in some way, shape, fashion or form how utterly poor Mr. Wilson is as an attorney. Ineffective and dishonest. Mr. Wilson failed to make his client aware opposing counsel was running for Judge in a court where he does extensive business. This is at best a dereliction of duty. While Mr. Wilson's failings are extensive his failing to make his client aware of the above is the most egregious.

Will allways recommend. My daughter was held back a year and failing out of school. I felt helpless and scared thinking fathers never win custody because courts favor mother's. But they listened to my situation and helped me gather the facts and fought hard with truth. My daughter lives with me now and is a straight A student with one C. And I could not be more thankful.
