I’m a Registered Nurse and competent at my job, unfortunately I wish that was the case for lawyers. I have been getting the runaround for over a month now for my settlement check. I’ve contacted Maury And his associates I was told a week ago that would be overnighted. It’s been three days at this point and no one seems to know where it is nor seems to care. I hired Maury to help recover fees after my auto accident. He and Teresa led me on for several months that they were “working” on my case. They didn’t do their due diligence in collecting my medical records from my doctor. I provided them with X-rays, and they left those out of my file. After several months of emailing Teresa, speaking with Maury only twice, very briefly over the phone, (he didn’t even know the particulars of my case when we scheduled the second call,) I was told they were dropping my case due to not enough money being recovered. They made excuses that it was my doctors office who hadn’t gotten them all the records. I doubt it. I even added the X-ray from the very beginning showing proof. Had they added the X-ray, like they were supposed to do, the cost would have exceeded the $1000 needed to file suit. Bc of their negligence, I’m still in need of legal help and have to start the process over again with a more competent lawyer and staff.
