I did not work directly with this firm. But Jon Rodgers was my mom's lawyer the past 4 months for Guardianship and grandparents rights. My kids were removed by dcs (not saying I'm innocent, I fully take responsibility in a mistake that got my kids got removed). My mom was placement for 2. And the other 2 going for grandparents rights so she could see my kids while they were removed. My kids are my whole world, I was a full time mom raising my kids for 5 years. So the removal killed me. My mom is the only family I have. The only support I had through this .l wasn't able to see my mom outside of the court room every month the last 5 months because she has been placement for my kids and I had to be supervised when around them at a facility. Before he was her lawyer she was supportive with me through it at court dates. And as each court date happened she talked to me less and less. Jon told her not to talk to me because it looked bad. Okay ..I'm her daughter. She's my only family and the only person I had. It's not like I'm being accused of being some terrible mom who beat and didn't take care of her kids. I was a good mom. Even dcs said at court my kids were the happiest before removal at my house. But Ive struggled with addiction issues . We had the dispositional hearing this past week and it got to a point everyone waited 2 and a half hours before we were called in. Can't have phones or anything. I sat there by myself emotional for 2 and a half hours while my mom talked to my kids dads and their families and jon the whole time laughing. And not a word said to me. I was upset about it after court and my roommate told me that my mom told her her lawyer told her to not talk to me, it made her look bad. You would think being a family lawyer you would encourage clients to at least support their own family. And not tell clients to turn their backs on their own kid who needs their family right now and support. But that's just my opinion! I know it really hurt me. Not saying he isn't a good lawyer ... But he messed up the paperwork I know alot for guardianship to all parties, she paid a fortune, he ignored her main issues at least in the beginning I know, and as much as she paid he still didn't say the correct names of my kids at court this past week.😵‍💫 But again, not my lawyer directly.

The woman I spoke with informed me they only work with businesses they don't actually represent possible employees who have been wrongfully terminated

I am writing this review concerning my experience with their attorney Jon Rogers who acted as a Guardian ad litem in my case without going into many details of the case. While I feel he listened to my children, I also feel that he ignored the bigger picture. His reports did not thoroughly address the plethora of issues that were backed by evidence. He also neglected to interview witnesses who could have increased the credibility of the evidence. With that being said, larger issues were ignored and the situations, not only have not improved, but have degraded further. If you are looking for someone to act as GAL that will look at the larger picture...keep looking. Edit: Shortly after posting this review, Mr. Rogers reached out to my attorney complaining about it. However, rather than inquiring more about the situation in an attempt to understand my concerns to make improvements on how he does his job or to try to remedy the situation like good companies do, he stated that he would be interested in me deleting this review. That will not be happening at this point

I don't even feel that they even deserve a star. Hired them for a protection order issue and they didn't want all of the info that was turned in because I have video proof of my innocence and they wanted nothing to do to do with it but try to settle on a B. S. arrangement which I was not happy and had to fire them!!!!!!!!!

I had Jon Rodgers as an appointed GAL just this year. He is not reachable and billing showed that he took multiple calls from the other party. My lawyer couldn't get through to him either. The entire process felt as if it was just a file that laid on his desk and the father was already going to take the hit. The report was filled with more accusations from the other party than professional input and painted a blatant bias against me. Notably, the report was made without Jon ever stepping out of his office to conduct a proper/honest investigation. None of my contacts were reached out to to discuss outside point of views regarding our case. I will admit that I didn't make a payment at the end in hopes that I could speak to Jon, but all attempts were a failure. After that a payment was made to end that cycle and even after; Jon would not speak to me to discuss a new GAL report and was honestly extremely rude. If you're a father looking to get an honest GAL report done that will show your potential, I would steer very far in the opposite direction from Jon Rodgers. I would give no star but it isn't an option.

Attorney Kaitlyn Foust-Hunneshagen was awesome. She resolved an issue that I had been dealing with for 6 months on my own, in about 1 month! And that was because it was holiday season. They have a great team!!

Not impressive at all. They said our estate planning documents would take 2 weeks to get around. After 5 I started calling. It took 3 calls and threats to even hear back from them on the status. Pretty sure they are not the cheapest route either. Would not recommend. We went to sign the papers and they made it right by us. They understand customer service and not just in words but deeds. Will definitely recommend.

Attorney Nathan Barnes is excellent. He is very knowledgeable and pays close attention to detail. He is a good listener, too. He prepared some important documents for us. We are very happy with the results. We will definitely consult with him in the future as needed.
