My family has been waiting on my Aunt's estate settlement for 3.5 years now. No one ever returns phone calls, or e-mails after a zillion attempts. I even wrote to the probate clerks office regarding their extreme delay with no response from them, either. There is absolutely NO excuse for a business to treat clients with such total disregard and neglect. Even after leaving messages to senior partner Mr. Joe Maya does not light a fire under their boots!

I would have given no stars if I could but I had to select at least one. I’ve been very disappointed with my experience at this law firm. I have not been able to get in touch with my attorney for several weeks, despite multiple phone calls and emails. After requesting a refund of my retainer, I was told it would be sent to me on September 22, 2025. As of November 4, 2025, I have not received it. I’ve followed up several times by phone and email but have not received any response. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional, especially given the amount of money involved.

Despite the glowing reviews, Lauren Jacobson's legal representation was a huge disappointment. For almost a year, all we saw was a huge number of "filings" and no results. What should have been a straightforward lawsuit became a maze of questionable legal maneuvers which appeared to have no purpose but to extend the litigation and charge us for it. She once even increased her hourly fee and never bothered to even mention it to us. No rapport with us, only legal bills. Would not recommend her legal help.
