If you have Harvey Gruber as a public defender, be prepared to get sold out straight heading down the river. Gruber was handed a slam dunk defense victory by his associate Michael Printy (had to step down for conflict of interest at pretrial which should have resulted in a dismissal). Finally got around to seeing me before trial only to tell me we're waving your right to a speedy trial because I have another trial. WHAT!! Some defendants who waived this right were waiting over two years to see a Judge. Sure the wrongful imprisonment lawsuit would have been higher monetarily but who wants to lose two years of their life and children growing up when the children are the ones who suffer the most from not having their dad. Thanks Gruber. Oh yeah, don't forget that the charge was never changed from the original despite Gruber's famous plea bargain reduction. Defense? What a joke! SMH

If you are looking for a great Criminal defense attorney Harvey Gruber is it. His staff is in contact with you always returns phone calls and are very nice. Mr Gruber believed in me was able to get me an OR 3 times on a case I was looking at a year in jail. I was given 2 simple things to complete and I finally completed them. He is awesome! I was skeptical at first because my mom - she worries - & I wasn’t able to initiate all the calls, but after my case got reduced so profoundly-I became a believer.
