Mazzu Law is a top notch law firm. I was at a horrible spot in my life after I was injured in an accident. I was in pain not able to work and struggling to move forward in any aspect of life. Ed Mazzu personally handled my case and literally saved my life. He took over my case after I was struggling with communication and direction with a prior law firm I was working with right after my accident. I spoke with him on a weekend and he spent a couple hours going over everything that had happened with me and offered to help me. I felt I was being mistreated by workers comp, worker comp doctors and even the first doctor I went to. I needed a lawyer. I went on our Local 40 Ironworkers Facebook page. I asked what lawyers guys were using. Ed responded, I talked to him, he told me his story, it was my story, feelings of being mistreated etc… So he became an attorney so people would feel like someone really cared when a tragedy happens you. Big plus … was he knew all the lingo, because he is an ironworker and in the construction field. No need to explain terms we used on the job. Go find a doctor/surgeon for your arm, another for your leg and another for your back. That’s when things changed for a better direction, then where I was going. He was always there to talk and explain what was going on. He answered his own phone when I called, or if he was busy, sent a quick text, or just called back as soon as he could. He listen to me talk/complain when I felt down. He listened to me complain about workers comp and everything going on. My physical therapy progress or fall backs. After my 7-year-old daughter was injured at a local business, I turned to Ed for advice. I knew cases involving children wasn’t typically his focus, but I trusted him to guide me in the right direction or recommend someone who could help. As soon as Ed heard what happened, not only did he give me the guidance and support I needed, but he was eager to step up and take on the case himself.
