I cannot recommend Scott McCarthy highly enough! As an Illinois driver dealing with a case in Wisconsin, I was completely overwhelmed—especially after receiving bad advice from a previous attorney that left me with a plea deal that could have seriously impacted my job. I used to have a five star for this law office and Scott still deserves that. Unfortunately I hired Maggie the second time and there was zero communication I was the one who had to reach out and even when I did there still was not anything done. Not one court date happened. She wrote up a paper that took 5 mins the first time I was in the office. That was the only time we met. When I asked for a refund it cost me almost 900 for that. So I asked why and never got a response. So I’m very upset. I thought I had a law office that I could trust and always go to. I was wrong.

Seemed interested and super helpful at first then there was zero communication until I had to follow up to my own emails after a week several times. Calling wasn't much better. Asked for my refund back and she took 550 dollars out when there was zero work done besides the consultation. Avoid.

Just gotta be honest, never had a lawyer before, I don’t know if I want one again, but if I were to, I’d pray the experience I had with Maggie was replicated. Maggie is absolutely fantastic! I reached out to her for a second opinion, as I felt my current attorney was not supporting me properly. Refuses to help take a case against the courts for kidnapping.... Refusing genetic testing is kidnapping... Fathers have rights and these people don't care... There protecting the kidnappers by refusing to help.... Your exact words.... McCarthy worked in the Milwaukee DAs office and Atty. Scott McCarthy was the former Rock County DA, so we take kidnapping seriously and always are willing to help reasonable, kind people through very difficult situations. ^All this proves yall don't care.... You say your willing to help reasonable kind people yet none of you are willing to help 😪... All you lawyers are just scammers. The judges are the kidnappers and obviously the police won't do anything because yall are protected... Point blank you refused to help so of course I'd start to get in my feelings and end the call... This is a serious matter to me and NONE OF YOU WILL HELP... Just like you said serveral times nothing yall can do to help at all so obviously I'd end the call... Meaning you support kidnapping... If fathers had rights my son would be right next to me now not being kidnapped from me and yall wouldn't be willing to help... since you refuse your protecting fugitives making yall just as guilty...
