He’s knowledgeable, responsive, and truly looks out for his clients’ best interests. Highly recommend his services for anyone who wants a reliable and competent attorney.

Worst experience ever.

My brother hired him 10 months ago and since we signed the papers for him to take the case we haven't heard from him. He won't take our calls or return our messages. Maybe he's scared to take the case and that's fine but to take a client and then just disappear is not good professional conduct. I'd be cautious for hiring him for anything over a fender bender.

Attorney Ed McCormick gave me untrue and provably false and legal advice before and during divorce proceedings that also had a domestic violence component ( from my spouse to me ). He repeatedly told me not to make complaints to police department about my husband’s behavior, that resulted in some dangerous and avoidable incidents. The police ( when I just went to police and reported these incidents) arrested him and he cannot come back to the house. I believe that Attorney McCormick was actively working against me . He endangered my physical safety and also my eventual financial settlement . This man is dishonest and a liar . Do not engage him .

I met with McCormick law firm back in June of 2024, in regards to an issue involving a family trust. The case has yet to be resolved, however my interactions with Mr. McCormick has been ongoing and very positive. It’s a time consuming process which hopefully will end up with a positive result. I would highly recommend the McCormick law firm to anyone that has any issues regarding real estate properties

I would give -5 stars most unprofessional attorney I’ve ever dealt with.Never returned my call.I left his secretary about 30 messages and he still hasn’t returned the call.Garbage

Have worked with Ed a couple different times on business and personal matters and he was helpful and responsive and told it “like it is” so that I could understand the realistic outcomes to be expected and those were the outcomes so I would recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend Ed, I've worked with him for nearly 20 years. He has helped my clients achieve their goals for probate, estate planning, divorce, all family matters selling real estate. 😂 try NOT to use Ed and his rude secretary if possible! If you are not a certain color or ethnicity, the treatment you receive is not the same as others! Just observe before you sign for him to represent you. Another lawyer confirmed my family was entitled to mortgage payment credits during their divorce which Ed failed to establish. The judge after their Nominal hearing confirmed as well! Thanks Ed

The lack of communication is beyond unprofessional. Unanswered phone calls, unanswered emails, and a paralegal named Susan who says he's in court all the time and too busy to respond. This has been going on for months, to the point of me sending certified letters. I plan to report him to the RI bar for violating Rules of Professional and find another attorney. For context, I'm a landlord and Ed was given a judgment to collect upon and he is useless. Do NOT use this attorney for anything that matters. He neglects clients and I suspect he's incompetent.

I retained Mr. McCormick for my legal representation in 2021-22 "against" my siblings concerning my Mother's estate (mainly the house that I lived in). He was always professional and was experienced with our situation including the family squabbling. Even though he grew weary of "our battle" he helped me pull through the ordeal with me ending up buying the house. He knew from the beginning that is what I really wanted. I would recommend him. I really liked and trusted Ed. However, all fairness aside I was to get half the value of the house I shared with my ex. At the time they stuck in a little Clause saying he'd have to die or sell for me to get my share. I initialed this not realizing at the time due to heavy depression, new meds closing judgement and fear. His reasoning was the house will increase in value if I waited. I'm done waiting and need closure. It's been 12 or 13 years and I initialed it not aware of the long time implications. I did not touch the exex business but want my half of the house. I'm sure a judge would understand I was bamboozled. I will be pursuing this whole heartedly as I will never see my half as my ex isn't moving, doesn't need the home and has plenty of money. Why my lawyer okd that is beyond me, please God help me sort this out. In all Ed was great aside from not sticking by my rights and protecting me i will give him a most generous amount if he can fix this for me. Prayers and faith needed. Cynthia

I called Ed McCormick to rewrite my will. I am pleased with the outcome. Office was very friendly. Very positive experience at a reasonable price.
