On August 14th 2025, I was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision while operating my motorcycle. The crash occurred when another driver—who appeared to be impaired, erratic, and potentially under the influence of illicit substances—struck me with their vehicle. Following the incident, it was confirmed that the individual who hit me had insurance. Despite the circumstances, the responding officers allowed the driver to leave the scene without being taken into custody. Turns out she did not have insurance and didn’t even own the vehicle. An hour after leaving scene she reportedly totaled vehicle The impact caused immediate and significant injuries, most notably severe back pain, which required medical evaluation, treatment, and ongoing care. The pain and physical limitations that followed the collision substantially interfered with my daily functioning, mobility, and ability to work. Due to the severity of the injuries and the clear liability involved, the claim was processed in a relatively short period of time. Ultimately, I received a substantial financial settlement, issued in a short amount of time, to compensate for the injuries, pain and suffering, and other damages directly resulting from the collision.
