I hired Frank Steinbach to represent me in a criminal matter that he reveiwed and discussed with me prior to payment in full of 10 k . He assured me giving the facts if we went to trial in his opinion we have high likleyhood of a favorable decision! He knows I had hired one attorney before him and I wanted a trial no plea offers . He stated would I plea to the smaller misdemeaner if the felony went away I said of course ! This was after he already stated he had talked to county prosecutor . Next court date comes and plea offer is not what he said and was rejected multiple times ! So the day of trial he has me address the court on issue he was suposed to address as my attorney ,but no prob Ill do your job you havent done a thing before now so why would you start now . Then in open court is trying to convince me to take a plea again when we are supposed to be picking a jury ! We are excused to another room so he can manipulate me by stating his colleuges would of found me guilty if they was on jury . Realy Frank funny how you state these things the day if trial and now I cant trust my lawyer because this is the first time he hinted at all that it wasnt a solid case . So now Im supposed to use you in a trial thats actually suposed to be underway so you can throw me to the wolves by misreprestning me or do I take the plea now that i have no faith in Him . I took the plea and he recused himself off my case and stated he dont do appeals . I bet you dont Frank Because you are a crook and are only a deal maker that the state quite frankly dont give good deals to because you cant win a trial ! So I had to hire yet another attorney to get this plea offer thrown out due to misreresentaion and yes we won thank god because this law firm left me ten times worse than when i came and paid ten thousand up front in full only to have him continually harrass my family for more behind my back after i told him I didnt owe any more he was paid in full for a trial and didnt do a trial and was not prepared for trial . He spent one hr with my witness before trial so he coukd charge me 7 k for trial prep which he didnt evan do thank the lord . This man is the picture of every thing lawyers are made out to be …BE AWARE

The lawyers at this firm are extremely rude, condescending, and apathetic. They overtalk you, use loud tones and come off as very superior. There are other firms out there that will take time to listen to you and are willing to help you out. Go there and avoid this place!

I spoke with Gotsdiner today, a managing partner of this law firm, and he is EXTREMELY rude, arrogant, and ornery! His demeanor reeks of a superiority complex. I needed assistance on a legal matter through my pre-paid legal services. He got on the phone without even a salutation! He immediately says, they could not find a referral attorney for my legal matter. He told me to go to the Iowa Bar Association and find an attorney on my own. Imagine a law office with lawyers allegedly with all areas of practice saying they can’t provide you with an attorney who practices what would presumably fall under real estate law. He continued to aggressively overstate that they can’t find an attorney or make an attorney take my case, and he’s not going to answer a bunch of questions on my legal matter. He unnecessarily stressed that I needed to find an attorney who could take my case and stated that rather than hang up on me, I needed to find one on my own. I was appalled at the way I was being spoken to unprovoked. While he went on this rant, I was mostly silent because I was so taken aback that my mouth was agape and just totally aghast. He also told me they do not have to provide me with a referral attorney. The whole purpose of having pre-paid legal services is to be able to get legal advice on legal matters when and if they arise. If they cannot provide you with legal representation, they can refer you to an attorney who can. Imagine a managing partner arrogantly and rudely telling you that he will not provide you with any of the things that are specifically mentioned in what they are supposed to provide. I am appalled and disgusted by the way this man spoke to me today. I will certainly be canceling my pre-paid membership and implore anyone considering pre-paid legal services or Gotsdiner in the state of Iowa to reconsider another option. Such as the bar association, as I was so rudely referred to.

Daniel Rothman was the best legal representation I could have had. From beginning to end he was transparent and detailed with all the information pertaining to my case. He worked hard to cover all the facts and delivered with the best possible outcome. Rest assured your legal matters will be addressed in a responsive and professional manner.

Did a consultation for some legal issues I was having and he called the cops and let them come pick me up for a warrant because he was a horrible lawyer. Highly do NOT recommend.

Words cant explain the lack of effort frank Steinbach put into my case. never even attempted to defend me and just went with whatever the county attorney said. This could be the rest of your life in the hands of this man. Don't make the same foolish mistake I made, choose a lawyer who will fight for you.

Frank is very informative and doesn't sugar coat it. I have used Frank a couple times and he has always been up front with me. He works hard to get you the best deal. Frank communicates with you even if it seems like a stupid question he will listen and tell you the best way to handle your problems.

Frank Steinbach has been my go-to attorney for both personal and business matters for years. I worked with a few attorneys prior to Frank, so I do have experience elsewhere, but they didn't produce the results Frank has, nor did I feel they had my best interest in the forefront like Frank has over the years. He's personable, and he will shoot you straight, even if it means he makes less money. That's one of the things I've appreciated the most over the years.
