When I was referred to Mr. McGahren, I was in a desperate situation. There was a lien on my house, and it was a fundamentally unjust situation where the third party that was suing me was a bad actor and was not doing so justifiably. However, there was a power imbalance as that third party had greater resources and an understanding of how to manipulate the law, so I didn't know what to do. When I met Mr. McGahren, I had approached two other lawyers for their help already, and I was incredibly disappointed by their lack of interest in my case. I had become disheartened and unhopeful - jaded by what I thought was a legal system that wasn't serving those in the right.
