I had a wonderful experience working with Mark McMann. He was extremely passionate about his work and truly cared about helping me through a difficult process. He was kind, patient, and always made sure I understood everything that was happening. What I appreciated most was how clearly he explained things. Everything was very straightforward and written in a way that was easy for me to read and understand. I never felt confused or overwhelmed. He listened carefully the first time, so I rarely had to repeat myself, which made the whole process much less stressful. I’m very grateful for his professionalism, dedication, and compassion. You guys went ahead and took payment from someone that needed help but won’t respond when they call. But you are the ones that are supposed to help people. Do better!

When I retained Mark I told him right from the start that I had an extremely difficult custody case. The opposing council has been doing very unethical things and has used my son as a pawn in court to due away with child support and paint me as a child withholder. Mark was my third attorney because of opposing council and once again opposing council has caused it again. Mark told me that he could handle my case and said it just seems like I had horrible representation before in the past as I was forced into a mediated parenting plan that gave the opposing party even more time with the child when the child didn't want overnights. He was very convincing saying that he would keep me updated on my case and put sanctions on the opposing party etc etc etc. When the going got tough he drops me as my lawyer. I was being constantly harassed by my child's father and my son was verbally abused by his father during the time that Mark was supposed to be my representation. Mark was not available and instead had his paralegal Denise emailing me after he had given me his cell number at the beginning telling me this was the best contact method. I literally had just texted him at one point asking the status of my case as I had not heard from him since the main consultation over the phone and paying $2500 over zell and I asked as well about the $50 filing fee that was listed on the court cite and asked was that the reason the court never did anything with my filings as I had to represent myself for a bit before retaining him and this was his response: "I've sent two letters to this guy we've already filed a notice of appearance, I don't need you to tell me that things haven't been done and asking that's why things haven't been done, you need to chill out you're going to look like a crazy person in court... Have a good weekend" I should have known right then and there to get my money back as this isn't a game this is my life and I already have barely any money as it is and my child matters and I have had to deal with emotional abuse for a very long time his response to me was very unprofessional. He went as far as blocking my number and I know he did because it would go straight to voicemail. When he would call me later the number came up under private and therefore I couldn't call him back. I then emailed instead by cc'ing Mark and his Paralegal Denise and I would call the office phone just getting the Paralegal. There was always some excuse as to why Mark couldn't speak with me and I also wanted a meeting in person which never happened. The Paralegal was giving some examples of what to do in regards to the situation but I wanted to know from Mark what I actually needed to do because a Paralegal does not have the right to give legal advice that is practicing law without a license! I explained why I needed to speak with Mark because the opposing party wants to put me on contempt of the parenting plan I felt like a hostage in my own house and had to call the police and I got no response to anything. Denise was absolutely rude and demeaning doing a 360 degree turn on me. Mark then emailed saying that I said he was working for the other side and this was the second time and was dropping me. I never said he was working for the other side all I asked was to meet in person or on a live chat to discuss the upcoming hearing and to understand what I needed to do because of the major issue of my child not wanting to see his father at all after the verbal abuse he had just went through. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER he lies, does bare minimum to make you think he is doing stuff on the case, takes your money, doesn't communicate, and when he does communicate it is to be mean to you. I already had to deal with financial and emotional abuse from my child's father and now Mark added more to that and so did his Paralegal Denise. Case was too difficult for him from the beginning when I told him that it was a DIFFICULT CUSTODY CASE. Opposing council put in a bar complaint which caused more issues for me! Can you say MALPRACTICE claim!

AVOID THIS LAWYER AT ALL COSTS!! He will literally just take your money and leave. My brother paid him $3,000 to represent him in an easy case. He’s never been in trouble and it should have been an easy case to solve. He showed up to the case unprepared, stumbling over his words and completely incompetent when it came to making a good case for my brother. It would have been better if my brother just took a public defender instead. Than my brother accidentally violated parole because of a miscommunication, and his fiance calls Mark McMann asking for some legal advice and for some help in the situation, Mark McMann said “well he shouldn’t have violated parole” and proceeded to hang up on her. This is as bad a lawyer as they come. He should have his license revoked for stealing peoples money and doing absolutely nothing to help them. If I could leave no stars I would. Horrible person and horrible lawyer. Take your money somewhere else.

GARBAGE....DONT USE THIS PRACTICE. THE LAWYER WROTE ME NASTY PEROSNAL LETTER AFTER I WROTE A NEG REVIEW. STAY AWAY!!!!!! Dealing with family court. Mr. McMann did fairly well during the first initial divorce. During a second modification HE let the former wife's lawyer run all over me in front of him. That lawyer said some inappropriate things and nasty things. Enough for me to get in his face and shut them up. He is dead now. Mark did NOTHING during this. Needing him again. I wrote on the 16th of Aug. Waiting until 25 Aug 2021 to make contact as I had not heard from him. Was contacted by his paralegal Denise (hard worker!) and she stated she would forward the information to him. Today is 3 Sep 2021. Nothing has be heard. I notified them today I will no longer need their services.

This man is a joke. Did not return calls or give in any information to help this case. His staff are also unprofessional and “sassy”. This man either doesn’t know what he’s doing or doesn’t care. Told me “I got a DUI and couldn’t get it off my record” the day of my court date after doing nothing to guide me. Not to mention he looked like a clown in court, a complete mess almost like he was drinking. This was my first time in trouble and my case could’ve had a very different outcome if not for him. PLEASE, give your money to someone else. Wasted thousands.

Mark McMann is an excellent attorney who really listens and shows up keeping your best interest in mind. I highly recommend him!

He just takes your money and never answers you. He Does not communicate well at all. He Does not answer messages or phone calls. He Took the case and he was told it would be difficult and never answers. He drops your case before the hearing and does not even seem to care at all. Just wants the money and does not do the job. 🙄 He never kept us informed of anything. Money had to be paid on Zelle. Crazy!!! And he never sends documentation for anything. Does not tell you anything of what the opposing party is doing either. Never received one piece of documentation. Do not use him. He is the worst lawyer ever.

McMann is one of the Best lawyer that understands your case the minute you speak to him in person. I truly recommend him to anyone who has a criminal case because he will do his job and he won't lie to you he will be forwarded with any concerns or Questions. And his assistant Fabiola is the best also she will answers your questions with no lies once so ever, She take care of you and make you feel welcome. Love their technique of working your case with respect and kindness.. From a scale 1-10, I gladly give them 10+++..!!

Extremely hard to get in contact with him or his secretary. From the beginning I wasn't given any information on things to apply for, that would help my case. He postponed the case for months to allegedly prepare for the case and showed up the day of the case without knowing anything about the case. Not to mention he then looked as if he just had been drinking, his suit was extremely sloppy, and shoes were falling apart. It was embarrassing to have him represent me. I asked questions he had no idea that polk county had a policies of not doing verses other counties. He then asks the prosecutors these questions and looks completely unprepared. I could have saved my money and asked the prosecutor the silly questions he asked him.

Mark is attentive, knowledgeable, and a genuinely good person. A rare find in this field! Denise is also a gem, and kept my case organized and on track. I highly recommend both of them.

Mr. Mcmann and his team made feel at ease. When I talked to Mr. McMahon on the phone, I was confident that he was going to do whatever he can to help me. He’s very personable and thorough. His assistant Faby is wonderful and Keeps you updated on everything that is going on. 10 out of 10 experience!!! I couldn’t be more grateful for the outcome that I had.
