I actually just got on this website to see if this was even a real law firm. Months ago, somebody reached out to me about a gaming addiction lawsuit. My son does have a serious gaming addiction. I filled out the questionnaire. They wanted more information. They are very pushy. Every time someone calls me it is somebody with such a thick Foreign accent, I can barely understand what they are saying. They wanted all my son’s gamer names. I was just suspicious when they were asking for my Social Security number and my Social Security number. I’m not just gonna give that out to somebody calling me Claiming they are an attorney. They gave me a first name, but wouldn’t even give me a last name. They have been calling me and texting me nonstop. I quit answering because the last couple times I answered they were very rude. Pushing me to go forward with it. All of that sounds extremely fishy to me. It would be one thing if I was the one that reached out to them. They won’t give me any information about anything until I give them our Social Security numbers. I’m not just gonna give that information out, especially to somebody with a thick foreign accent when they won’t even tell me their name. Claiming to be an attorney

David is the most unscrupulous, unethical, and bellicose lawyers I've encountered. That nature turns on clients and partners when he is not getting his way. Be warned.

This review is not helpful or accurate. Moreover, it appears to have been potentially posted by an AI bot, as the "person" making the review is listed as "Email Sender," which is a anonymous review, apparently in violation of Google's terms and conditions.

Malfeasance is an understatement. Permanent damage to my hearing just to be “rewarded” a couple hundred dollars. The worst part? They reached out to me originally. Should never have trusted them to represent me.

Very unprofessional. Would not recommended to anyone. There was 1 person who was decent, but most others not worth it. You can definitely find a better firm than them to work with.

I'm seeking representation for my minor child who suffers from gaming addiction. Although I initially became very uncomfortable with McSweeney/Langevin's process after contacting them about their lawsuit, the situation has since improved significantly. Initially, the intake specialists had foreign accents and were aggressively pushing me to sign a Retainer agreement before allowing any conversation with an actual attorney. As a concerned mother, I refused to sign anything binding my child to legal fees and services without first speaking directly to the attorney who would handle our case. When I explained this reasonable request, they insisted it's "policy" that I must sign first, which felt extremely suspicious and potentially predatory. However, after making my initial post, Mr. McSweeney himself contacted me to apologize and provided direct contact for any questions regarding the retainer contract. Although we haven't come to an agreement yet, Mr. McSweeney has been very responsive and apologetic for the initial issues I faced. He's been sure to let me know who would email me and the next steps to take, which is a breath of fresh air compared to my initial experience. If you've experienced similar issues, I encourage you to reach out and push to speak with an attorney - don't take no for an answer. Mr. McSweeney will speak with you about your particular needs, as he confirmed it's your right as a client to speak with an attorney and understand what you're signing prior to signing anything. I hope we can come to an agreement. And thank you Mr. McSweeney for reaching out. But please fix the customer service issue. I fear you will loose more clients than you would gain if not. Much appreciated.

So far, so good. Very polite, and much patience in helping me get what they believe is justice for people. Thank you.

Would not choose these guys again. Just remember they’re ambulance chasers. They’re not your friend. They’re doing this for them…not you.

So far I couldn't ask for a better lawfirm sometimes it's hard to keep in touch between my schedule but they have always left a text or email I'm waiting on my payout and it's only been about 10 months and the paperwork on the payout was just finished so that's pretty quick considering.

I've been engaged in a Hernia Mesh suit for sometime now..about 5 years. We finally got a settlement offer and we are progressing forward. I always get a phone call back when I call and they send every 3 month updates on the ongoing case. Thanks for your help!

Lawsuits can be beneficial when you have been wronged for several reasons: 1. **Justice:** Lawsuits provide a legal platform to seek justice and hold wrongdoers accountable for their actions. 2. **Compensation:** Legal action can result in financial compensation, covering medical bills, property damage, lost wages, and emotional distress. 3. **Deterrence:** Lawsuits can deter others from engaging in similar wrongful actions, promoting a safer environment. 4. **Precedent:** Landmark cases set legal precedents, shaping future laws and ensuring fair treatment for others in similar situations. 5. **Awareness:** Lawsuits raise awareness about important issues, sparking public discourse and encouraging social change. 6. **Restitution:** Legal action can force wrongdoers to make amends, repair damages, or change harmful practices, benefiting affected individuals and communities. 7. **Closure:** For many, pursuing a lawsuit provides a sense of closure and validation, acknowledging the harm they have endured. 8. **Consumer Protection:** Lawsuits against corporations or entities ensure consumer rights are protected, fostering fair business practices. 9. **Accountability:** Legal action fosters a sense of accountability, making individuals and organizations think twice before engaging in wrongful actions. 10. **Empowerment:** Lawsuits empower individuals to stand up against injustice, promoting a sense of empowerment and resilience in the face of adversity. While lawsuits can be beneficial, it's important to consult legal professionals to assess the merits of your case and explore the best course of action like this one!

I would highly recommend Rhett McSweeney. He is knowledgeable and all in for your interest, another case won. Ask questions. Always be honest and candid as possible about the facts of your case. The more your attorney knows the more he can help you. Build a relationship for a lifetime.
