They refused to refund an uncashed mileage check. I had paid for witness mileage but the witness was allowed to testify remotely. The witness was a corporate witness, and provided a letter detailing that they had shredded the mileage check. I contacted Metro Legal about this a few times. Eventually, John Levesque at Metro Legal told me in an email that the fee should have been reimbursed to me. He said he would look into it but I never heard from him again. They kept the fee even though they were not entitled to it.

Had some papers served in a custody case. Metro Legal had them served in less than 24 hours!!!! Great people, great service, very professional. I recommend Metro Legal over the sheriff's office anyday to anyone. Thank you Metro Legal!!!!

Talked to them on the phone and they didn’t care about anything and even hung up because instead of being polite

Received an order and confirmed by sending an Invoice as we always have. Same standard rate as before. Printed documents and sent server out for service. A day later receive a phone call saying they are wanting to cancel without payment because they had sent the work to another server. Not good business practice!!

Couldn’t find the entrance

I have been using MetroLegal for service of process for decades. This is a good company that works hard to get your documents served. Communication is good and the costs are very reasonable. I appreciate the assistance I have received.

The doubt of proper service of my regular need to deliver eviction papers is never in doubt. The price is reasonable, considering the potentially significant cost of improper service. I highly recommend the service for those with small volume and those with more service needs alike. While it’s certainly possible to get service completed at less cost, in my experience, non-professionals are susceptible to service errors, require additional oversight and instruction and are more likely to increase doubt of proper service into a case if service is questioned. I sleep better at night knowing there’s no doubt of proper service for cases I generally appear for personally to represent my businesses.

I had to evict someone and the first time used the sheriff's office to serve the papers, and went to court without filing the right forms! Luckily when I was refiling someone at the clerks desk said use Metro legal services.They made sure the right forms were filed. I wish I would have used them in the first place.
