I want to give my highest recommendations to Attorney Courtney Werning and her paralegal Elizabeth Robertson of the Meyer Wilson law firm. Courtney has represented clients who are victims of investment service company and broker misconduct for 11 years, so she is experienced and knowledgeable; she knows the players and the playbook well. In my case, nearly the entirety of my retirement savings were used to purchase two inappropriate investments that were definitely not in my best interest (a private equity fund worth virtually nothing now, and an annuity). As a result, I lost a sizeable portion of my retirement savings. There are means to recover at least a part of your investment losses, which is particularly important if it is retirement savings, but the barriers to recovery can be formidable.
