Law office emphasizing disability and injuries.
I just called and they were rude, rude, rude!
I had a very good experience with Jill& Rebecca! They explained everything in detail and always corresponded with me and my case in a timely manner. I can't thank them enough for always being there for me if I had questions ect. I would highly recommend Jill & Rebecca to handle your case! The process went very well with my disability claim! God bless them both!
Thank you so much William for your kind review. We enjoyed working with you and we appreciate clients like you!
Horrible people.
Maybe don’t tell someone who reached out to you for your services who really wanted your help that they’re too young and need to just get a job when they physically can’t. Definitely really appreciate that. What a great law firm.
Helping people get Social Security disability benefits is what we do. We have a lot of experience in that area. We know which claims will be accepted by SSA. We put extensive time and money into our client's claims. When we know SSA will not grant disabiltiy to a claimant, we can't represent that person. We don't only take obvious winners. We do take claims that have a questionable successful outcome. But we can't take claims with no possibility of success.
They treated me very badly over the phone and then criticized me for getting upset. telling me the conversation was one sided while she just kept talking over me, no desire to help at all.
We're sorry you're unhappy with the phone conversation you had with our office. Sometimes it's hard to hear what you don't want to hear. We handle an extensive amount of Social Security claims. We know what we're doing. Often people mistake what we tell them as our opinion instead of what the law is and what Social Security will and won't do.
The Law Offices of Michael W. Seckar resolved my SSA claim to my full satisfaction. Because the SSA limits the fee charged for representation, I was turned away by other lawyers as my claim wasn't in their interest. If you are filing an SSA claim, contact Michael Seckar first. 80% of first claims are denied and can take a year to be reviewed.
Thank you Mark! We enjoyed working with you and we are so glad we were able to help you with your claim. We appreciate clients like you! Thanks for the kind review.
Thank you!!
Stay away!!When I walked into this law office, I thought that this attorney Larry was going to help my case, he did the opposite of everything and persuade me to see a Dime doctor Larry gave me false hope that I would get future medical for my injury, he never once called to check on me and ask how I was doing through all my treatments and workers compensation doctors visits, when I had any questions he acted like I knew the answer and I was a inconvenience to ask any questions about my case, he never reviewed all my medical records, or calculated my missing Over time that was never paid to me, he was always nervous around me and could not look me in the eyes, Larry Sanders did not only lose my case he stated he had no fight to win!! He was only there to get money that was paid to me for being injured, stay away if you are injured and work for the state, Larry works with the opposing counsel and will lie to you and tell you he will win your case in the beginning, then his affect changes and he is as cold as they come, beware of this attorney, for now I am injured, and I have to live with the pain with no future medical for my injury! Larry did not discuss and updates on my case, when there was a hearing he already knew the offer they would make, this was strange! he also told me to take the offer because I would not get more and he would not win in a hearing, I feel deceived by this attorney, and I am writing this review so it will help someone else, please look somewhere else for a representative when it comes to you body and injury you have to live with for the rest of your life.
The Team at this office are the most helpful, attentive, honest and, professional group of folks I have ever met. If you are searching, look no further and give this office a call. Larry and Sam NEVER failed me and are honest in their words and dealings. I had a really tough time during my case, I felt supported and I am grateful for the exceptional integrity of the whole Team.
Thank you Marie! We're so glad you're happy with our service. We enjoyed working with you!

I have a horrible experience to share. I tried showing them the sheer enormity of alerts I got for COVID while working and they kept repeating the mind-numbingly simple phrase that the burden of proof is on me. This is my drop in the bucket in the balance against these ... people. The way it looks on paper, my employer should be the one trying to prove they DIDNT get me infected. Edit to respond: This one snarky remark from the receptionist when I told her that filtering for the alerts showed me that working there was terrifying, "Was it terrifying when you went to the bar?" I wish I didn't have to stop somewhere to rest before going home after being completely exhausted and limping to my vehicle. You do not know the sheer enormity of everything wrong with this situation, but I hope you feel it soon.
Bryan we're sorry you were not happy with the information you received from our office. There are currently many covid claims being litigated in workers' compensation and they are generally not admitted. Because you can be exposed to covid just about anywhere, it's very difficult to prove it happened at your work place. If you could prove you had no exposure to anyone except at work, you might have a shot at a claim. Unfortunately, most people cannot claim that. Good luck to you.
Rude and made me cry. Heartless and don't care to help cold hearted and not professional at all!
We strive to provide professional and courteous service. Sometimes it's hard to hear information you don't want to hear. The Social Security rules and regulations are not negotiable. If you have worked and paid into Social Security and are found disabled, the amount you receive is based upon what you have payed in. Just like buying an insurance policy. If you have not worked, the only program you are eligible for is a welfare based program called Supplemental Security Income. This provides approximately a maximum of $840 per month. And that amount can be reduced if there is other household income. It also limits what you can have in assets. There is no provision in Social Security to get more money the more disabled you are. It's not like the Veterans Administration where degree of disability affects how much you receive.

I understand if you were hoping for different news, but unfortunately it's the law.
