Jeff Milam not only represents me but he shows how he’s willing to fight for his clients to receive the dignity and respect from the SSA ALJ’s who definitely need to be reminded that they are human and should have the integrity to decide claims fairly on the merits of the claim and not on their bias. I’m definitely honored to have Milam law represent me on this quest for benefits in a system that exposes just how heartless it can be.

My honest opinion is that when I called to set up the appointment I was told that my child meets all criteria and that an attorney will be contacting me within a few days. Yesterday evening I received a call from a woman who introduced herself as an attorney and I do not know how true that is given the misinformation that was said while speaking. I have been in the process of getting my child’s social security started and just recently my child has been diagnosed by a psychiatrist including the documentation from the school. The woman speaking asked me a few questions pertaining to my income and asked if I received government assistance to which I answered yes. Then she proceeded to ask me if I work and I also stated yes. She then asked if I was single to which I applied yes. This lovely human being then proceeded to state that Social security will not qualify my child because of my income and that if they do approve my child that the amount would be set to $0. She grouped everyone’s cases to together to prove her point by stating her and her husband have been doing this for years and multiple people wasted their time. She also stated to wait and reapply when my child is over the age of 18 because social security will not pay because I have a income. I just wanted to state how much trash spewed from this woman’s mouth and it is disgusting to project misinformation on someone who is seeking assistance. I’ve talked to countless parents who work 2 jobs and their child still qualifies and receives social security benefits. This woman sounds wacked out of her mind to think a determined parent would even consider what she has to say as being truthful. Sounds biased and untrained to me and very unprofessional to group every case they’ve had into one category because every case is not the same whether it’s for social security or not everyone has their different reasons on being approved or denied and it’s definitely not based on income. This Wacked out attorney made it seem like I was sitting on thousands of dollars a month yes I work more than one job and I’m in school but Im also a single mother of 3 children and have a household of bills. I would hope I have a income Wacked out lady. Save yourself some time and speak with a reputable and knowledgeable attorney these people have no clue what’s going on or what they’re talking about.

I just want to say how much I appreciate Mr. Milam for helping my mom even when she had a judge who denied her multiple times. My mother definitely deserved to win. We are very grateful for his support in her case.

This Law firm was the only that cared enough to take my case. SS tried to take my Disability away from me after I had been receiving it for 15 years! They had my back after the ALJ gave me an Unfavorable decision! My case was appealed and the decision was reversed. They fought for me for 3 years and have my benefits back. I can now get back on my feet. I highly recommend them!
