I contacted Miller Westwood & Brush regarding a traffic case and spoke with Mr. Brush. I sent him my ticket and explained that I also have video evidence related to the stop. After reviewing the ticket, he quoted $2,500 normally, or $1,750 “discounted” just for the pre-trial, and stated that if the case went to trial it would be another $1,750. I simply asked a few questions about the pricing to understand why the fee was so high for a traffic case and whether there was any flexibility, such as a lower fee for the pre-trial and adjusting the price later if it actually went to trial. Instead of explaining the reasoning behind the fee, the conversation became very short and I was told the price was non-negotiable, and shortly after he said he no longer wanted to represent me because I was asking questions about the cost. What disappointed me most was the lack of willingness to explain the pricing or have a normal discussion about it. When someone is considering hiring an attorney and spending thousands of dollars, asking questions about the fee should not be a problem. My family has used this firm in the past, which is why I reached out in the first place, but after this experience we will be looking elsewhere. If you are considering hiring this firm, I would recommend asking very clear questions about fees upfront.

Mr Brush is not a good attorney he went months telling me we would win in a motion to surpress hearing then once we got in court he told me he wasn’t comfortable going forward with the hearing and tried to get me to plead to an open plea I told him why I felt an open plea wasn’t in my best interest and I got him to agree that it wasn’t he said well they will give you three years I asked him if I didn’t want to take the deal what would happen he said I have my reputation at stake so I’ll just withdraw from the case he said I had 3 Minutes. He then tried to get me to agree to a presentence investigation which if I have a stipulated plea agreement the only outcome a PSI would be a reason to give additional time this guy is a snake

Mike Brush helped me resolve what seemed like an impossible situation with my son’s drivers license suspension. He’s a great communicator and it was so easy to work with him. Highly recommended!

Cindy Westwood was my attny. It stinks i could not have had her at beginning of my alienation case. She has been here past 2 to 4 years. She has fought every accusation as if she lived it also.
