Once again Gene is the BEST attorney money can buy. He has your best interest at heart, is willing to work with you, and is always understanding. Gene leads a busy life balancing work with his personal life but he will always find time to reassure you, answer any questions you may have, and make you feel heard. We consider Gene family in the biggest way and cannot thank him enough!

I do not recommend this lawyer to anyone. He is very sketchy and does nothing to fight your case. He has very bad communication skills and won’t tell you anything about your case until the day of court. Please stay far away from him if you have a serious case.

Worst attorney you could ever have. He represented my mother, and during that time he convinced her to not have any witnesses due to the fact that they would hope to appeal her trial. Again HOPE, to appeal. Did that happen? Absolutely not. During her time of incarceration my mother is now dead. If you want your family alive and happy, do not have Gene Mitchell represent them. Sincerely a very angry daughter.

Mr. Mitchell has the charismatic energy and fire to dazzle and brilliantly decimate the prosecution. His personal rapport and communication he has with his clients is so generous and humble that it makes him a one in a million lawyer. Without a doubt..I will never recommend or use any other counsel as long as he is practicing. He saved my brother from a doomed situation and my family will forever be grateful.

My wife came to Gene Mitchell for help with my violation of probation. The State wanted to send me away for a long time under the habitual felony offender law that would’ve doubled, even nearly tripled the sentence. I was actually innocent of the crime I was initially charged with (during Covid & no one would look at the evidence proving my innocence, basically forced into a plea by my other attorney who took my money without ever looking at my case). But I was guilty of the VOP. During my wife’s first & only meeting with him, he drafted on the spot a motion to have me considered for the drug court program as a last resort to avoid prison. I’m happy to report I’ve graduated the program this past Summer & will be done with everything by end of year. Getting me into that program has changed my life, me & my family can’t thank him enough. I even teach NA meetings now & help other people who are where I’ve been. My wife came to Gene with what little we had left of our savings at the time & he even refused to let her pay him. Also, this attorney is a beast: he does everything himself, he is the entire practice, if you call you speak to him, you only meet with him, he is the one drafting his motions, etc. Truly an impressive individual & such a hard worker. If you don't know about Gene Mitchell, you'd better ask somebody. He grew up, in Warrington (like Trent).He treats everyone the same, and is a good man. But, don't get it "twisted". He loves to go to trial, and does not f••• around.
